Looks like £4k of buys was enough to move the bid up 0.5p! Assuming the results are good (we should see them this month hopefully) following all the director buying the effect on the price could be interesting.

Director buying before the close period is usually a good sign of what's coming..

It's a shame this stock is on very few radars!!!

Hi SW - I know Fox are a major BTR client, but haven't seen specific reference to BTR doing work on the Fantastic Four. Can you confirm it's definite, or are you surmising because of the Fox relationship?

Here's your chance SW - the bid is again rock-solid at 14.25, but the spread has reduced to 0.75p, unheard of for this stock! That won't last long with any buying interest.

Yep, should be results next month. I might phone to find out if we'll get a trading statement before that as well.

Interesting to see a 32k buy, yet the spread closing with a tick down on the offer - the bid remained rock solid. A bit of an opportunity for buyers with that smaller spread.

I'm looking forward to hearing about what work they're doing on the Becks' front.

Recent director purchases would indicate they are confident, not too long to wait to see if this optimism is well founded.

BTR has definitely picked up approaching the 31/3 year end, and with four separate lots of director buying in the months prior to the year end there's every reason to believe the results will be good.

Big article in today's Sunday Times about the growth of online advertising, encompassing mobile promotional work. Some day BTR will be acquired by one of its bigger rivals wanting their expertise, of that I'm convinced:

Extract:
"Another challenge, barely visible at present, will come from the mobile-phone industry. It may be hard to believe looking at most of today's handsets, but faster connection speeds will soon make the mobile internet a reality.

Like Google and Yahoo, mobile carriers already have lots of information on their users that will allow for the efficient targeting of advertising. Combined with location data, mobile advertising is set to become an important adjunct.

The mobile carriers are also teaming up with the social-networking sites. Orange last week signed a partnership deal with Bebo, and Vodafone is already working with MySpace and YouTube.

Morris, who wrote his first research report on the internet in 1993, believes the move online is inexorable, and Isobar is well placed to benefit.

"The shift in the proportion of spend is going to be quite large," he said. "Some big brands are still spending a tiny amount online, not using the channel in any way.

"But for a lot of clients that have made the move, it's a vital business driver.""

A 62k buy at 16.5p, 0.5p above the full offer price, and 2v1 on L2.
