Not sure why you’re being Marsh about this - I am a holder and I agree with most of what you say but I’m sure many will agree newsflow has been a little slow this year

I reckon that’s it on the news front for this year! Happy new year folks from Satoshipay and Meinhard wherever he is doing his endless blockchain presentations & Sthaler will also see you in 2020!

Fair point; that's probably why they got it placed so easily

I note the point about the nominal value being 0.1p. However if you accept the NAV as opposed to the current share price then there is no premium and in fact they are buying new shares at a good discount.

There are so many future monetization possibilities that it just has nowhere to go but up.

While the premium placing is welcome, remember that the shares have a nominal value of 0.1p so it's possible that it was easier to do a 20% premium than organise a share split to reduce the nominal value below 0.8p... especially if they wanted to get it away quickly... Bear in mind also that the market cap at 0.1p will shortly be £3.5M, not £2.5M....Nevertheless overall I see today's RNS as positive, although at present I can't see any real value except if Satoshipay takes off (and with only modest further dilution)... It's good to see that S.Pay is still alive and will be issuing news shortly... But we need to see actual revenues rolling in to them ASAP...I reiterate that IMO BLU remains a 0p or 5p+ share (with the former much more likely). Faites vos jeux messieurs.

It's good to see that Fabrizi and Lew have invested reasonable sums of money in the placing. A criticism of Fabrizi in the past was that he didn't invest in his own companies. Lew's appointment as the new Chairman appears to be a positive move and at least long term shareholders here are now looking at a glass half-full rather than a glass half-empty scenario.

Good to see this finish number 3 on the leader board up 33%. Clearly Satoshipay is taking longer than expected to develop and it has been frustrating that the market has refused to recognise its true value of £4.6 million as the market cap is only £2.2 million. However there is big money to be made in the games space so this could be a good time to invest if the new man knows his stuff. It is also good that the new money was raised at a decent premium to to Fridays closing price.

New Chair is good, as long as they can start to drive proper value from this. Esports investments could be interesting, but they look v. "new" so who knows how good they will / won't be....Satoshipay need to start delivering real traction, or IMO they will have to write it all off.....been "at the cusp" of big things for far too long.

DYOR and all IMO

@2trying........."it's always darkest before the dawn ."............... You were right with that one, lets hope it is really dawn and the start of something new and not just a one-off short term spike. I hope my march 2020 price prediction of 0.07p is hugely wrong

And previous historical placings were at much higher prices, so your reference to the placing price is what exactly?

I'm reading a book called "The Club" (Written by Joshua Robinson & Jonathan Clegg" it is about how the Premier League became the richest & most disruptive business in sport. This is the model for eSports; I suspect BLU wants to become a major investor in this sector using the capital markets to fund expansion and build a brand. Importantly unlike football's Premier League you don't need to build hugely expensive stadiums.

Good to see the stock trading up on the announcement today.

v good news

Blue Star was far too dependent on SatoshiPay before this

eSports has a growing awareness and audience

clever strategy to have 6 different investments in the market

i'm feeling more upbeat about this share now

onwards & upwards
