I've been waiting so long for something to happen that I have almost forgotten what news I'm waiting for.
Let's hope for something even mildly interesting tomorrow.

FINGERTIP PAYMENT PLATFORM LAUNCHES FUNDING PITCH
25 Jul 2018 South East
Fingertip payment platform launches funding pitch
A Guildford-registered which has developed a platform allowing shoppers to pay for items using their fingertips has launched a crowdfunding pitch in a bid to secure £750,000 to scale-up.

Sthaler is behind Fingopay, which uses the unique vein pattern in our fingertips as a method to pay for goods.

It uses Hitachi VeinID technology; infrared light illuminates the vein pattern and Fingopay creates an anonymised cryptographic token.

Fingopay was initially designed for music festivals but the business is now aiming to break into the retail market.

The company has estimated the identity verification market is predicted to grow to between $16bn and $20bn by 2022.

It turned to Crowdcube in a bid to raise money from investors in return for 2.18 per cent equity and has since secured more than 50 per cent of its target.

A statement accompanying the pitch said: "Fingopay enables greater efficiency, speed and volume of transactions for merchants which can create more footfall and better customer experience. They can map purchasing preferences to offer targeted promotions and deals."

Sthaler developed the technology in partnership with Worldpay, VISA and Nets.

To date, the business has raised more than £5m from private and institutional investors.

Nicholas Slaters purchase of 9% has certainly caught my attention and I topped up on the back of his confidence. BLU has a current market cap of £4.7million. If Satoshipay is as successful as we all hope then 9% of BLU could make him a very wealthy Guy.

I hope so moormoney. It seems to be taking an age for anything concrete to come out of Satoshipay's activities. Also, I'd like to know what Nicholas Slater knows that has caused him to buy 9% of BLU.

It’s still being tested on The Register. Hence why millions are being given away. Satoshipay isn’t even setup yet on most partners. Sit back and wait. It’s gonna explode but it is clearly being used just not widespread yet

Yes, agreed, said the same couple of days ago. Takes time to change. Think the tech more likely to be snapped up before we get to widespread adoption. Still +ve for holders though.

I also think SatoshiPay isn't being used because it's just too different for your average punter at the moment. But that's an interesting link and makes me wonder how many of the big boys will be going shopping for the technology.

mr negative.

The false claim that no one is using Satoshipay is pathetic.

Satoshipay employ 15 people and they are looking for 4 more so clearly expanding due to Satoshipay being used.
Blu give €200k loan to satoshipay may 2018 so clearly very confident.
Nick buys 150million shares and he knows his stuff.
Uk top online tech news site “The Register” uses Satoshipay.
Visa & paypal compatable.
IBM - Steller uses Satochipay and are clearly still developing the integration on the system.
This stock is clearly going to be huge with 31% ownership of Satoshipay.

My average buy price is 0.2486 and you won’t see that price ever again. My lowest buy was 0.22 😄
Hold for high rewards 😄💵

Replying to @isaactoken @BitPay @SatoshiPay

Not really like @BitPay but @SatoshiPay allows every publisher to get paid in Lumens from any user with VISA/Mastercard/Paypal account. Anyway, it makes more sense to keep XLM in own private wallet vs at custodial/exchange service due to tx fee @ only a tiny fraction of a cent.
