11/7/2019 23:38 | Looking at re-investing here, is this undervalued compared to UiPath? PRSM is $1.25BN MK, UiPath is now $7m; " Clearly, the Robotic Process Automation market is growing at unprecedented rates, but then again, so too is UiPath. In April, we announced that we closed a $568 million Series D funding round, a milestone achievement that raised our company valuation to $7 billion and established UiPath as one of the fastest growing enterprise software companies in the world" UiPath is private, but I wonder how different the Revenue, profit and licensing future revenues are? They are burning more cash for sure. hxxps://www.uipath.c | qruz

11/7/2019 16:14 | From the gartner report: Blue Prism Blue Prism appear in our Leaders quadrant and is based in Warrington, U.K., with slightly fewer than 500 employees at the time of this analysis, approximately half of which are focused on business development and sales. It was one of the first vendors to describe RPA as a “market” having realized the broad potential of task automation at the UI level. From the beginning, it has focused on supporting enterprisewide deployment, balancing the democratization of automation development with the governance tooling needed for long-term success. This analysis pertains to Blue Prism Version 6.4. To counter this issue, Blue Prism has built-in integrations with complementary BPM products from partners such as Appian, Bizagi and TrustPortal. This is a challenge for organizations that need to include human interactions in their process automation efforts, because they need to license third-party products. Blue Prism has described “human-assiste ■ Sales Execution: Although Blue Prism has in-house resources for business development, sales and advisory/assurance, the vendor relies heavily on partners for sales support and implementation. Reference clients and other Gartner inquiries cite concerns about the company’s responsiveness to requests for information. This suggests that Blue Prism has historically struggled with service and support processes, compared with competitors that have invested heavily in these areas. ■ CustomerExperience:S | testbot

08/7/2019 08:36 | What is Cloud Robotics? Cloud robotics relieve robots from hardware limitations while benefiting from vastly available resources and centralized high computing capability provided by the cloud platform. How robots benefit from / interact with Cloud Computing? Cloud robotics is an emerging field of robotics rooted in cloud computing, cloud storage, and other Internet technologies centered around the benefits of converged infrastructure and shared services. It allows robots to benefit from the powerful computational, storage, and communications resources of modern data centers. In addition, it removes overheads for maintenance and updates, and reduces dependence on custom middleware." "Cloud robotics is the use of remote computing resources to enable greater memory, computational power, collective learning and interconnectivity for robotics applications." "Cloud Robotics is the application of the cloud computing concept to robots. This means using the Internet to augment the robots capabilities by off-loading computation and providing services on demand." " Cloud Robotics is considered as one of the emerging research field under the mainstream research of robotics and artificial intelligence. The main focus of cloud robotics research is to explore the possibility of using existing cloud-computing infrastructure, which is based upon service oriented architecture." The cloud robotic architecture leverages the combination of an ad-hoc cloud formed by machine-to-machine (M2M) communications among participating robots, and an infrastructure cloud enabled by machine-to-cloud (M2C) communications. Cloud robotics utilizes an elastic computing model, in which resources are dynamically allocated from a shared resource pool in the ubiquitous cloud, to support task offloading and information sharing in robotic applications. In a sense , what it does is offload some of the processing to the cloud in return for rental of the cloud components. A little like voice control on your I-phone the phone detects the voice, and sends the coded voice to the cloud where it is processed and then the processed meaning is sent back to the phone to execute. Because it is sold as an app, you aren't aware that you are renting time on the cloud you are just paying for the voice control feature app. Because there are multiple robots and you can command only a few of them at a time, having a network of robots creates the impression that each robot is smarter, and having a connection to the cloud means that if the robot is not smart enough it can offload the processing to the cloud, instead of slowing its own work down to accommodate the extra load. | christh

26/6/2019 22:07 | danny, What I am saying the aquisition of the new company will compliment and enhance the services that PRSM is offering. Not only that but probably offer its RPA to the new clients but also will be a one stop shop for RPA and cloud services. Perhaps the combined services that PRSM will offer will be more attractive as they will be under the same umbrela rather than MS or IBM or xxx. PRSM had a reason to invest in the Cloud so that's why they bought a already business rather than start one from scratch. What PRSM has done is an investment in itself, which will help to grow the company. Very wise move with good potential. | christh

26/6/2019 15:47 | Christh. The customers from the aquisition are already BP customers predominantly. And what does cloud mean here for BP that they didn't already have. Please, oh great knowledgable one, explain because I know all of the many RPA vendors have cloud of some sort (bull or otherwise), so what is going to be in the cloud now for BP that will not have them buying from another RPA vendor with same features, or better? | dannyboylife
