FC - Although May's leadership challenge may rattle a bit the markets the rest of the week in case she loses, I will see you then at £17+. Just make sure you jump ship just before you hit the bottom ...

Agree DavR0s - As sometimes even a buy is flagged up as a sell and vice versa.
.
Some statistics on Stock Market Trend in December. Thus why a strong possibility to end this December in a rally after big corrections in series.
----------------------------------------------
"Fidelity found that over the last 30 years the FTSE 100 has risen in 26 Decembers. The only falls came in 1994, 2002, 2014 and 2015, with the heaviest 2002's 5.4% loss. Hargreaves found a similar pattern for the FTSE All-Share, which has risen in 27 of 32 Decembers since its launch in 1986, delivering an average return of 2.6%. Over all months over the period, the FTSE All-Share rose only 62% of the time, and by an average of just 0.7%."

It's not buy to sell ! Why do people keep analysing trades this way. A buy is a sell and vv. All it does is report where the exchange happened wrt the mid point of the spread at the time of the trade

First time I see the Buy to Sell ratio at 2 to 1 for the last month or so.

Can’t believe people still think the sell of shares has to do with the company... hopeless

This was what convinced me to hold for the long term and never exit regardless of market sentiments especially when reading the last paragraph from the CEO.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
" The Board is encouraged by the exit monthly recurring revenue generated by the sales momentum in the financial year ended 31 October 2018, and as a result, expects revenue for the 2019 financial year to be "COMFORTABLY AHEAD OF EXPECTATIONS". It is the intention of the Board to continue to "PRIORITISE INVESTMENT FOR CONTINUED GROWTH" ..."

Alastair Bathgate, Chief Executive Officer, commented:

"I am very pleased with the progress we have made in 2018 and the results we are set to deliver. It is a reassuring sign that our strategy to invest in growth during this phase of Blue Prism's evolution is the right one, in order to create LONG TERM VALUE for our shareholders."

DTaliadoros - One of the best example in loss making growing companies is Amazon.
I remember well when Jeff Bezos was grilled and ridiculed live on Blomberg in 2000 following the tech. bubble. Amazon share price had bottomed at $9 - $10. Since then it grew more than 22,000%. Today who is ridicule when Bezos became the richest man on the planet 18 years later ?
This is only to show that losses for growing companies investing in expansion have no connection with their share price value.

I'm remaining on the side lines for time being with this one, but keeping 25% of my initial investment in as I do not want to be out of this one completely. Folks, with regards to the loss reported in the trading statement, bear in mind that a loss is not always a bad thing, particularly if the company has cash flow to finance that loss. The reason tech stocks appear to constantly remain loss making as they are using what would otherwise be surpluses to aggressively fund growth. One of the benefits of making a loss.....is that you don't have to pay corporation tax. And don't forget, losses from year to another can be rolled forward for a number of years. If I was running a growing company I would rather invest my profits in pursuit of growing market share rather than give it away to that tax man.

What fuji has failed to realise, is that institutions invest in 1000s of stocks so although they may have 5 million invested in BP, it makes uo less than 0.05% of their portfolio...

Massive competition is the biggest threat to this stock combined with massive price destruction in the market. Differential in the top 15 vendors products is now very minor and proven. This is not me saying this. Read further than your noses. PRSM and other vendors have seen zero alliance from any conglomerate or potential acquirer. Zero. Game over.

Institutions are not buying to lose money. They probably know what you and me don't know yet. A takeover? A joint venture with a big conglomerate? Who knows ?

Speak for yourself - I posted months ago that it had broken trend. The post didn't get much interest at the time - repeated this on many of my holdings - have to respect where the trend is going if you don't want to suffer massive drawdowns in markets like these

Instituitions buying is a show of confidence in the company. Possibly they dropped the share price to pick them up cheaper. At present level they are cheap as the number of issued shares in only 65 millions thus strong swings to either direction.

Hedge. Two funny. Like I give a hoot who you filter. Just because you are arguing that an institutional investor increasing stake is a guarantee of share price increase.
