Bloomsbury Publishing Plc (the "Company")

Final dividend for year ended 29 February 2020: bonus issue of new shares

Further to the 2020 Notice of Annual General Meeting and the Company's announcement of 31 July 2020, a listing application has been made for the bonus issue in lieu of final dividend of 2,513,674 ordinary shares of 1.25 pence each, to be admitted to: (i) listing on the premium listing segment of the Official List of the Financial Conduct Authority; and (ii) trading on the London Stock Exchange's Main Market for listed securities (the "Bonus Issue Shares").

When issued, the Bonus Issue Shares will be fully paid up and will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing issued ordinary shares of the Company.

Admission is expected to become effective at 8.00am on 28 August 2020.
