There's no point in bitcoin' Blockchain to fuel cryptocurrency and global revolution

BITCOIN has captured the imagination of many but a British MEP said the underlying blockchain technology could even revolutionise the way governments work.

Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies such as Ripple have attracted much attention after they surged in value but UK MEP Ashley Fox said the underlying block chain technology is of far greater importance.

The MEP for the South West of England and Gibraltar said it could fundamentally alter the way governments deliver services.”

Mr Fox said: “I think blockchain technology has the potential to revolutionise how government delivers its services.

"Blockchain is the technology behind bitcoin and at the moment I don't see a great deal of point in bitcoin.

It seems some people are speculating on the actual Crypto-currencies - trading between pairs BTH-ETH, BTC-XRP, etc. Very risky with their volatility, but good luck to them if they're successful.

The other side, is to do similar on the blockchain stock(s) - BLU, LION, BLOC, VELA (and others I can't recall at present).

One of these may 'win' and come out on top, or possibly more depending upon their blockchain sector/usage. No one really knows until the dust has settled.

If there are 8-10 of these companies, would a 'punt' on each be advisable, with the expectation the 'winner' will more than 10-bag to cover the losses on the other 9? Risky, but plausible, although waiting a while to see that 8-10 reduced to 4-5 may be better, albeit with potentially less profit.

I did follow the threads on some of these companies, but the noise from the rampers/de-rampers made it hard going, so now, only occasionally visit them to see what's been happening.

As an aside, Chiron Refineries, an African Oil Refining company, listed on Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE:CHR) announced they're planning BitCoin ATMs in Turkish-Cypriot and Nigerian casinos. Immediate +60% on their stock price. What could go wrong with that? lolol

Good solid day of consolidation after the rise from 7p. Volume is ok considering we have just 36m shares in issue.Any decent news and this will fly.

I doubt if anyone cares too much, but the reports from the WEF indicate a clear change of institutional sentiment which seems to be flowing into the crypyo / blockchain markets today. Trump to say his piece on Friday, may not mention it, but could be influential and very tempting for him to comment on it as he loves to be at the front of the news.

also another notable example is VELA - which had a monumental series of rises from a few shrewd blockchain investments so i'm very interested in where this will go. locked and loaded.
