We aren't actually waiting for "improved flow rates" though. Which I think is what Spangle was getting at. The well documented failings at 16az have now been absorbed and, although we look forward to hearing about a remediation plan for 16az, what we are waiting for is flow rates from 38z. And just a reminder - as clearly your research is forensic, the well was successfully cased and cemented before the 600m+ sidetrack was drilled and completed. Anyway real news soon

Exactly what you repeated there won't be any improved flow rates so that means the share price will not go above 7p.It's all baloney that has been spouted by the BOD.Like i said all in my view but i won't be investing sorryGood luck

I sold out (at a loss, but not as much as if I had held, and made my losses up at EUA).

That is now past, but I still watch to see what happens, and am ready to re-invest on positive news. I do hope it turns out positive. However, the operations update of 31st October does not inspire confidence in Haywood- he is either deliberately suppressing price to let mates in or the WR-38Z well is weak. In the same RNS he makes much of the fact that this is not the endgame but more drills to come.

I really do not trust the man to look after wider interests than his own and his mates...the way the share price has declined indicates problems...

Block Energy

It is worth taking a look at the Block Energy share register after another TR 1 this morning where Jon Fitzpatrick, a well known predator in the oil and gas sector has announced that he has taken a 3.82% stake in the company. If you then go to the shareholder list of Block you will see that Alistair Ferguson has a holding of 5.21% which together finds them now holding around 9% of the company. Watch this space…

Mr Fitzpatrick is known as a keen M&A practitioner and of course also has a large stake in Solo (Scirocco) where Mr Ferguson is the Chairman…might there be something going on, we shall have to wait and see….

4 to 7 days at a guess....because:

wed20mar - they said 2 weeks for wr16z AND 'starting later this week'
mon1apr - flow rate rns
[delivered in 12 days]

however the test time was much shorter.....

'It was opened on 26 March 2019 and, after a short period of swabbing, began flowing naturally, producing a combination of oil and returned drilling fluid at average rates of 1,500 bbl/d through a 1/4 inch choke. During the initial six hour clean-up phase stable wellhead flowing pressures of 500 to 550 psig were observed. The formal testing programme was started on 30 March 2019, .....'
