Ah I misunderstood; guess we're almost "low 40s" now. Went to late 29's recently if memory serves, on the last drop (WTI). I remember it in the teens! Could/should have bought BP for a song. Should probably inflation-adjust it in fairness.

I don't see 20, nowhere near that level. my guess was low 40s. That may be optimistic!.

Ha, if it goes in a straight line down to $20 I'll buy you a pint @EI. 76p NAV reported for yesterday, I'd guess down perhaps 2p now, though only a guess and still "cheap".

That NAV a surprise - oil been weak, not dcb'ing, but in space of a day they gained 2.5p of NAV last week. 75.45p at close on Friday.

Close to 62/63 pence may be an interesting price, if we are heading for another crude washout, just IMV only.

Worry with Qatar/oil seems to be the potential rift in OPEC - but they only produce 30kbbls a day, is hard to see how they could greatly increase that and damage output quotes. Qatar's all about gas.

Long term holder here - 2 reasons, 1. Divi 2. Oil in emergency usually rises. Any views on this Qatar thing? I might up my holding, but if it blows over oil looks like a long downward trend?

I think you are ignoring about 0.01p per week of revenue charges but all you have to do is go to the accounts and see that option income was £3.867m last year or 3.14p per share - so your estimate was very close, as it happens.
