I am not sure he ever bought a share. Which would be indicative of the above approach.

No matter what the company, minimise your risk and don't get attached.

BIRD was just another one out of scores of businesses.

I assume with his background and as a VC he is completely company agnostic.

It is just a job and an income stream for him.

You take the money when you can and you ignore investment rationale and noise and move on.

He lied straight to my face. So I am not his biggest fan. Asked about cash burn to profitability and looked me in the eye and said would not need to raise funds again. That was 2 placings ago!

Mind you - the investor interview with Aziz where he chimed in and extolled the brilliance of a 20% increase in deferred revenues from Zip to Zip was probably worth the £500k odd he creamed in by itself.
