Need to do some homework on small Oiler's that have hedged price on production per barrel. May be a few cheap ones. Anyone?

The shale companies will just have new owners with a new cost base so I don’t think it will stop the shale oil flow to help Saudi.

All this well help China imho

They can turn the taps off as soon as they turn them on.

But they have a ton of debt and don't make money.

At some point the sector will crash and the wells will remain but the equity values will not.

US shale survived the 2014 oil price crash to similar levels

Bonio . Sorry but you really do talk nonsense at times . The US shale industry is very low cost and had made very large profits . That is a fact !

Bloke opposite me flew out on Friday for two weeks holiday to see this...big tennis fan.

Ouch.

Major tennis tournament cancelled
The Indian Wells tournament - one of the biggest outside the grand slams - has been cancelled.

The event was due to begin in California later this month.

I reckon any large Media companies that have been testing Blackbird will be hyper accelerating (panicking) it’s take up to enable remote working from home.
They won’t do a 6 month test!

So take up should accelerate fast.

All imho

Yes Saudis won't last long at $30 they will be back to the stone age.

BIRD must be a great bet even hedge. Cloud disruptive tech, people are still going to watch news, sports, games.

Saudi has just bankrupted the USA shale sector overnight.

A sector that has never made money and has had a fortune pumped into it.

There are going to be fractures in the global financial system all over the place - from oil, to commodities, to equities, to bond traders.

Should be interesting.

How long before BIRD use the excuse 'reluctant to fund capex for new technologies due to market conditions' etc?

Wow.

Oil drop was about the same size as the Oct 2008 drop.

Bonds also look weak.
Even BTC down(that is surprising).

What happens when 50 per cent is mindless passive index trading. Bots buy buy buy on the way up to match their holdings but when markets reverse...

All so predictable.

Going to be a lot of bankrupt people tomorrow.

U.S stock futures and crude oil prices plunged immediately after the start of electronic trading late Sunday, as fears of a global oil-price war combined with coronavirus fears to rattle traders.

Well, the Middle East markets were massacred today on the back of crude falls.

Seems like there is no good news anywhere.

Maybe the sales team will convert a query within the next year?

Yes I got the impression that there is a buyer soaking up the shares from fearful investors.
