19/1/2005 10:33 | So what's the story here, why is this rising....is there news in the pipeline? | smarm
14/1/2005 17:52 | Did not manage to get the IC, what kind of share price/time frame did they put on BISI? | egreensh
13/1/2005 19:06 | New high today I think. Sam | sammu
10/1/2005 22:25 | the ic article was very good this publication has improved heaps in the last few years and their small cap man has made some very good calls. the exciting thing about this stock is that theb good news is being played down i expect 30p minimum of earnings for year end 2005. some form of corporate activity will also happen at some stage although i woudnt like to call the timeframe for that new broker appointed over 2 months ago (ebg)and no view from them????i wonder why. | bisiboy
10/1/2005 08:17 | nearing a breakout now. | bigbobjoylove
07/1/2005 18:08 | Apparently the share price action today has been due to being one of IC's tips of the year. I haven't read the article yet. Sam | sammu
29/12/2004 14:15 | Can't help feeling nervous about miners, chester, because I don't really understand the market. But this one doesn't look as though it wants to go down. | diogenesj
29/12/2004 13:53 | Hiya mate. You've picked some 'good uns' this last year. I don't think you'll let this get away from you, if it continues higher. | chester
29/12/2004 13:29 | Good luck, chester - probably should have held on to mine. May buy in again if it looks like breaking out. | diogenesj
29/12/2004 12:45 | Nice move today, I reckon plenty more to come. | chester
01/12/2004 11:31 | Well, I don't know, but it's looking a bit toppy to me, and I sold mine yesterday at 223p. They're probably worth a lot more, but I don't have a clear idea of how to value them, they were up 95% since I bought them in June, and I was tempted. Good luck to all holders (and Stan). | diogenesj
30/11/2004 12:29 | bought a 1000 more its all u can get.Was naughty though and did it twice so another 2000 makes it 14000. | bigbobjoylove
30/11/2004 12:17 | Just done a test sell with Comdirect. MM's showing 218p to sell but I've been offered 221p, bodes well..... | chester
30/11/2004 12:13 | agreed, looks like theres a bit more in this one yet. | chester
30/11/2004 12:09 | coal stocks are going mental in oz,never quite up with events Bisi MMs but gives a good tradin chance for us punters.Alot of catchin up to do this one. | bigbobjoylove
29/11/2004 13:02 | I looked to top up online at 213p, no joy, even down to below 500 shares. Price moved in the mean time. Now 218p to buy. | chester
29/11/2004 10:48 | Good points, S. | diogenesj
29/11/2004 10:26 | Maybe relatively lower risk considering BISI have actually been digging the stuff up for years at Black Wattle. Regarding political risk, BISI were shrewd enough to share Black Wattle with a black empowerment company right from the start and have able and influential directors in Sipho Dube and Duku Mogoai. Also 80% of the assets are held in the UK. | skyracer
29/11/2004 10:02 | Nice - where's Stan? | diogenesj
29/11/2004 09:50 | Very quick move there..... | chester
28/11/2004 14:50 | Well, it looks simple, B, and on that basis one could say that BISI is a bit cheaper than (for example) Asia Energy, especially as BISI is already in production with plant in place. But I think the risk factors you mention are more important really, and more difficult to quantify. | diogenesj
27/11/2004 17:09 | the maths are quite simple 15m tns (minimum)@$45per ton= $675m(reserves) of which bisi own 62.5% mkt cap of bisichi =£20m of which circa 10m=uk props so at current price you are paying £10m for circa £225m of reserves. lots of risks though political, geological and human | bisiboy
26/11/2004 11:50 | Wouldn't be suprised to see this one move soon. | chester
25/11/2004 21:03 | I expect some of it is at a fixed price, at least for a period. Also Bisi has already had a very big rise. I must say I find it hard to value, with no forecasts in the market, the large UK property portfolio (which dilutes the exposure to coal), and very little information from the management. However, we were told that they intend to double their coal output with the new equipment recently installed, so I think the shares are probably still good value. Strange goings on at Western Canadian this evening: up another 21% in Canada on huge volume. | diogenesj
25/11/2004 18:23 | Hi Dio It's a bit strange that Bisi hasn't benefited from the bullish Coal price articles that have been floating around in the last few days. Not like WTN has been. Do you think that the supply contracts that Bisi said they have entered into via Richard Bay Coal Terminal has capped (and secured?) the price they will be getting for their exported production? Regards Sam | sammu |
