04/2/2015 14:59 | See what I mean? Looks like I'm out. | trewsa
04/2/2015 12:24 | Because most biotech firms are in the USA so it depends how they go in the afternoon. If you look at IBB (ETF) on here (easier to see on a spreadbetting site) it gives you an idea;yesterday quite a big drop which mostly recovered later. | trewsa
04/2/2015 08:44 | Is there any particular reason why this share always starts brightly in the morning and seems to fade as the day goes on? | stewpot3
26/1/2015 13:10 | I'm using Stop Losses, so may not get today's price but still will get out at a decent profit, but also keep any gains. Trick is - picking the right level... only time will tell on whether i've done that. | affemoose
26/1/2015 12:55 | Taken a chunk out today. The rest can go to a tenner if it wants. | richtea1701
23/1/2015 17:32 | Well old gets like me can remember the bio/tech crash c15 years ago. History is bunk, as they say. Thanks. | philo124
23/1/2015 17:16 | Never apologise for taking profit Phil. | affemoose
23/1/2015 16:55 | What a fund! Had I not trimmed my holding several times taking profit from c£6 would now have £60k in fund instead of £20k. | philo124
23/1/2015 16:18 | Ah, great performance!! Swiss, listed in Switzerland, Germany and Italy. I suspect that this has benefited very much from the strengthening CHF, but a good tip to look into, thanks. Interestingly - looking at the last 3 years I see pretty much parity! | affemoose
23/1/2015 10:29 | Richtea1701 - there are a small handful as good as this one - look at the trustnet.com Inv Trust performance tables - especially the annual performance tab ATB LM | luckymouse
14/1/2015 11:24 | Will do re: Woodford ( ) i am struggling with where to put a stop loss on this bad boy, it's been pretty volatile lately so i don't want to get dumped out for no real reason, but would like to protect myself just in cast it (read: World economy) all goes to hell in a hand basket. I think it has to be somewhere around one of these: 700/645/630 I don't want to sell out for no reason and it has recovered and some every time recently. The 630 seems to be the Fib 50% retrace line after the climb from 500, but why pick 500 etc etc etc Any thoughts? | affemoose
13/1/2015 16:23 | If only they were all like this beauty. | richtea1701
12/1/2015 22:54 | Thanks, keep us posted on this. | philo124
12/1/2015 09:43 | I prefer BIOG management though. Heard somewhere that Woodford is considering starting a BIOTECH fund, which could be quite interesting. He holds a fair few unlisted early doors tech companies already, so has visibility of what is coming from the innovation side of things as well as being a believer in the Big Pharma's. | affemoose
08/1/2015 08:24 | Has slightly underperformed IBT over last 3 months probably due to the latter's narrowing discount to NAV. | philo124
23/12/2014 05:32 | Another dip if you missed last week. Based on Gilead Sciences taking a hit as rival gets approval for Hepatitis drug.No worries for me. | richtea1701
17/12/2014 22:22 | Nice recovery. | philo124
17/12/2014 20:48 | Nice rise over the pond tonight, we're back in the game | bigwilly1986 |
