I saw that, it's really not true except that the councils are trying to pass the buck because they themselves are falling down on their recycling targets.

Black PET trays are perfectly able to be recycled just as any other PET, councils/recycle companies just won't pay for the necessary kit.

I saw this on the BBC and thought you should see it:Plastic food pots and trays are often unrecyclable, say councils -

At least 9.0m on current rates. Probably 9.5m which is what I would expect given exceptional strength in order book.

At the current rate we're on for annual sales of between 8m to 9m GBP. That wouldn't be too bad a year imo.

That's all well and good someuwin but have they got the capacity to take full advantage, and how long before the Chinese decide to build their own RF machines?

I said years ago that ideally the RF part should be separated, in fact I was tempted to make an offer to buy it out but I'm too old now.

Forget about the Bioplastics (that is in for free and may or may not take off). The real business here is RF tech i.e providing the tools that are powering the exponential rise in fibre optics used in mobile / telecoms / internet etc. The roll out of 5G which has hardly started yet will provide BIOM with huge revenues over the coming years.

Stanelco RF Technologies Division

Revenues for H1 2018 in the RF Technologies division were double those of the comparative period at GBP3.4m (H1 2017: GBP1.7m). The increase in revenues is reflective of the increased sales of fibre optic furnaces for the Far East market. The forward order book for the remainder of 2018 remains exceptionally strong with good enquiry levels going into 2019 and the team has been expanded to deal with these increased levels of activity. Revenues for the full year 2018 are now anticipated to be significantly higher than 2017.

I think sirmark was fully diluted marmar80, as was I, when I jumped ship with my meagre holding the share price dropped alarmingly.

Fortunately for me Tesco had hit the buffers badly so I bought in there and their share price has gone from £1.47 to £2.59 so my losses here have been well restored.

I also see this RNS as a good update. Bigger turnover same cash. This will explode up on any announcement re: contract for bioplastics division. It has co come. Marketing works well now. They are present on all bio related conferences and shows. World needs to turn bio before it's too late for the planet.

The big difference is thats the World has woken up to the issue of plastic waste in the last year or so. Its been very obvious that there is a new market coming into existence over the next 5 years or so. I am very excited by the potential here.

Its been causing the potential of excitement since 2001!! or the potential of a potential of excitement !! Biome is very successful in this field, potential.

I would rather call our begorrah a pragmatist realist truthful activist with regard to Biome. he's been here so long I almost feel we're friends!!

Like an old dog with a bone I will hold out now,my once considerabe stake (to an ordinary working lad as was in 2001) is now written off so any advance in the share price is all abit of bunce.

Regards Beg and all and any other old timers who still frequent this BB from time to time.
Are you still about and well Tony? Cheers.

Yes the RF business supports the market cap alone. Bioplastics then has potential even as early as a year from now of taking off.
I have pencilled in 9.5 m turnover for the year.
Market cap less than one years turnover and with very rapid growth in sales with possibility of truly transformational growth if Bioplastics takes off this looks very cheap to me.

Hydrus

When Mines goes.

That last share award [in lieu of a £30k bonus FFS!] that he then sold half of 'to settle tax' was just a slap in the face to shareholders. Had he kept the shares he would have had no immediate tax liability

Good update. This is an exciting growth company based on their RF Technologies Division alone.

The Bioplastics Division provdes the potential for excitement due to current plastic concerns.

Well, we were told this

'The Group continued to manage its cash position carefully, taking cash balances at 31 December 2017 to GBP2.3m (31 December 2016: GBP1.5m). This positive movement included the receipt of the one-off settlement agreement recorded in 2016 of GBP0.45m. The cash generated by operations, excluding the GBP0.45m settlement agreement mentioned above, was GBP0.2m (2016: cash generation GBP0.3m), which included a decrease of GBP0.2m in working capital, mainly the result of deposits on equipment orders in the RF division due for delivery in 2018. Capitalised investment in product development was GBP0.1m (2016: GBP0.5m).

Which is usual Minesspeak for 'Look into my eyes, look into my eyes, the eyes, the eyes, not around the eyes, don't look around my eyes, look into my eyes, you're under'
