Driving past the Bristol BILN Structural Steel depot this morning, to satisfy my curiosity, I stopped and counted the HGV trailers waiting in their yard for collection; 16 all loaded with large, girder-type structures; as their CEO stated in the recent 'contracts' RNS, it looks as tho' the second half-year is being busy.

For some inexplicable reason, I found the view pleasing on the eye!

I agree TBF - this seller keeps selling into any hint of a rise. Why not let it run first and then start selling?

I struggle with the thinking behind some investors. This is ready to take the hand break off so why sell now. These could easily be £3.50 post sept results.

There does seem to be someone determined not to let this break out from its current trading range. Shame as I reckon we would quickly move above £3 once it does.

Caused by a net 2.75k sold! For the life of me, I fail to understand why any investor would want to sell within a month of the next (hopefully promising) figures, they can't have made much of a profit ... if any.

I drove past the BILN's Bristol Steel Structures depot at the weekend as usual and their yard was full of HGV trailers loaded with complex steel frame-works waiting to be collected; had me wondering whether it was part of the South West contract recently announced.

Working there on Sunday as well which must surely augur well for the Interim figures next month. Not long to wait.

Pressure building ahead of 1H results in September. I think these will bring Billington to the Market's attention and hopefully move them to fair value North of 300.
And with recent contract news FY should be ahead of expecations

Another statistic which caught my eye whilst browsing the other night was that, of the 12,934,327 shares issued, 84.1% were held by major shareholders and directors leaving a mere 2,056,556 for the rest of us. Whilst talking to the co sec earlier this year, he 'guesstimated' that there was c. 700 shareholders on the company's shareholder list which averages out at 2938/shareholder.

With so few shares available, it's small wonder then that the share price moves so sharply on little buying/selling. I've obviously been greedy holding just over four times that 'average' so some must be going short. Sorry! (lol)
