The fact that Ellingham never bought a share at 68p having told institutions it was a steal at 100p says everything Until he buys stock I won't touch this and nor should others It stinks JMHO

PodgyDon't blame you Can you trust the BOD who get the founder member out weeks before a profits warning and a 65pct fall in their shares? It's my personal opinion that the management would have known the figures would be light when they had meetings with the 6 institutions And you said it wasn't a big profit warning ??!! It was bloody gigantic !

I'm quite active at the moment in buying shares which have gone down considerably in the current market for no/not much reason. Working pretty well as we speak.

This is very attractive on this basis.

However, I'd never buy this one as you never know when they're going to release information - total red flag to me - made good money here in the past but now wouldn't touch. Waiting until they get their reporting act together.

August 15th Bilby shares 140p5 months later we are 57p That's a 60pct fall!!Wow,surely Ellingham must be tempted to buy stock unless he doesn't believe his recent statement about profits exceeding last years ??!!!!

Podgy It's a matter of trust and how can the institutions trust a man who knew the numbers were bad when he had meetings with them prior to buying 35pct of the company?I'm shocked the institutions haven't forced Ellingham to resign

Don't really feel comfortable holding any UK construction companies in the run-up to the Brexit Vote.

Concern also over whether they can sustain their margins - very high for the industry.

Ellingham still hasn't bought 1 share Can't trust his last statement about prospects or he would've waded in

Chimers Do you think ellingham and the founder are family ?Just can't believe he gets him out at 100p days before a major profit warning and a 60 pct fall in the share price from 130p to 57pYou couldn't make it up !!

This is a cutthroat business with very slim margins.
One bad contract and the entire building collapses.
These contracts are priced so tight there is no room for any error.
But there will be error's ...lots of them.

I have seen so many of this type of company come and go.
They all have one thing in common.

THEY ALL GO BUST.

ALL OF THEM.

I expect this one to do exactly the same.

September Ellingham must have told Ruffer all things ok Ruffer buys 8 pct of Bilby November Huge profits warning and shares fall 60 pct ie 50p to all time lowLesson for Ellingham : be careful how you treat institutional investors Shame we got the wrong CEO here now,by allowing the founder to sell at 100p he has ruined any chance of a market valuation

They weren't fired ,northland gave up all their brokerages Look at the numbers ,it was a v big warning Shares collapsed from 100p to 60p so the market agrees with me Let's see if Ellingham buys stock or is his statement about second half recovery BS?!!

Northland have been fired.

What happened was not "a major huge profit warning". You short here?

Problem here is Ellingham went out of his way to get the founder out at a good price and he will now never get the support of institutions who have been stuffed in at completely the wrong price days before a major huge profit warning
