Seymour Pierce reckon a bid over 400p will be needed.

haha, unbelieveable, I think people were ahead of me in the news curve. Only 14hours prior (post 1881) I said I'd be prepared to wait, not knowing how close to an offer we actually were, but saying it required a firm offer to bring the others into play.
Well at 367, I figured there may be 10-15% upside only at the moment, so cut and run taking the 43%.
It's been a very mixed, in every sense, year.

Pleased to have finally something in the blue, not seen that for 6 months. Made a small dent in size of losses which continue to grow.

Good luck to everyone else.

I was prevented from taking my profits today, finding the 'market maximum size' (firstly 295, then reduced even further to a piddly 145!) against me.

Anyone else experienced this problem? I don't think it could have been broker-related.

I bought @ 237p in September so would be quite satisfied to get out at present level.

Evening Standard reports that banks advising the directors at Biffa have had to step back due to their involvement with a third party bidder. More than just a rumour perhaps ? Check out the this-is-money under Biffa, latest stories. And before someone says it..... Daily Mail.....yeh I know.
