Appointment of Lewis Sherlock as Vice President, Sales

Over 17 years' experience in digital advertising sales for Verizon (Oath), AOL, WPP and Carat

Bidstack Group plc (AIM: BIDS.L) the native in-game advertising group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Lewis Sherlock as its new Vice President, Sales. Lewis will head up Bidstack's demand (sales to advertisers) side of the business.

Lewis was most recently Head of Demand Platforms (DSP), for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Oath, Verizon's combination of Yahoo and AOL (which has recently been renamed Verizon Media).

At Oath, Lewis was responsible for strategy and commercial partnerships for Oath's DSP business across agencies, trading desks, publishers and direct clients.

Previous to this role within Verizon Lewis spent three and a half years, latterly as Head of Enterprise Strategy, International where he was tasked with the global roll out across all non-US markets of AOL's DSP platform 'ONE by AOL'.

Lewis moved to AOL following their acquisition of adap.tv, who were pioneers in programmatic video. He joined adap.tv at an early stage and was appointed to run the commercialisation of the business across Europe.

Previously Lewis had spent nearly four years at WPP, including as Director, Account Management and Planning at Xaxis, having been part of the leadership team that created the go to market strategy and brand. Xaxis helps brands deliver the best outcomes from programmatic media.

James Draper, CEO of Bidstack, commented, "Lewis' experience and approach to how he'd grow our business left us in no doubt he's a strong addition to the team. He has startup, net new media, agency and worldwide DSP experience. His appointment highlights our growing reputation and our ability to attract the incredible talent from the programmatic advertising industry.

"Although this is not a Board appointment, we believe this hire represents a real building block in our strategy to grow Bidstack into the biggest media owner in the video game sector."
