was busy buying some agronomics and codemasters...then saw bids drop and tried to add but negotiated trade only, which i never like....after a few goes went with the NT..bought at 32.5

Magli, already been through a ruthless spring cleaning to load up here! Of what's in individual stocks, had a quarter here originally, then just forced myself to get rid of so many...oh they might just fly with a bit of luck stocks...to take advantage of the drop back to 13,14p when the placing was causing some jitters. Now, and because it's grown so much it's about half. Couldn't let any UPL go, so that's the other half. It was quite liberating selling the others, feels good to be more confident than hopeful about your investments! As far as eggs and baskets go, I've always been of the opinion if you find the right basket, back your convictions and make sure you put a worthwhile amount of eggs in it, but I guess everyone has a different attitude to risk.

magli, i did that over the last month, i had some overall annual losses over the years which have been recorded for cgt purposes, just waiting to be used. Also sold some of my loss makers at the point where I thought, what the heck, i've nothing to loose if i put them in BIDS and more potential to gain. This will give some other losses to off set. Haven't been as thoughtful as i could have been but the chance to get in this low was too good to waver over.

I have close to 25% in BIDS, way too much especially longer term but for now its a good risk.

This is as close as i've had to all my eggs in one basket but it often feels that many eggs in many baskets doesn't work either....

moneygenxyz - SLB is just another product where all parties win.
The big Custodians have their underlying clients sign an SLB agreement and they do get paid - Likely around 40% of the fee the Custodian charges.....
It is an efficient process and has existed for decades..... albeit a much bigger product today than historically.
