The first indemnity date has passed 30 June 15, the second is 17 July 15 - this Friday. Then we should be looking for a pay out in September of around 4p per share. would be nice to get the property sold though.

The business property remains unsold and has had a price reduction. Perhaps it will need to go to auction if they are to achieve their target of liquidation by july.

For everyone share you had the company issued one B share. These B shares were redeemed and cancelled. You were paid 11p for each B share. You still have your original shares but they are no longer listed. All being well this time next year you will have received 3-4p for each of those.

It's delisted. Once the company is wound up you'll get whatever is left. They originally said it would take until next summer but I think they have been trying to get it done earlier, possibly even this year, though that is less likely. Hopefully we'll get another 3p or so then, until then, there's no market for the shares.

Yes, my money came through from Barclays Stockbrokers yesterday. They always take longer to process such payments than other stockbrokers.......but they would because they are a bank.

"The B Share Scheme
Each Shareholder will receive one B Share for each corresponding Ordinary Share held at the Record Time and will receive 11 pence in respect of each such B Share on the redemption thereof.
It is expected that each B Share will be redeemed by the Company for 11 pence by 26 August 2014 and cancelled by the Company on redemption. It is expected that the redemption proceeds will be sent to relevant Shareholders by 5 September 2014. Further details of the B Share Scheme are contained in the Circular"

panicked this morning when i saw my big loss on these!

anyone know when / how money will be paid for the delisting? i am with barclays stockbrokers

Once the record date is past for the first pay out the share price will fall - 26 August ?. Then the company will delist a few days later - 1 Sept? If you can get shares for 1.5 - 2p then there may be a 100% profit 12 months out.

A risky plan, but will it work ?

From other stocks covered on the SL thread, champion investor Nick J. Greenwood has been buying TRE & TREE; though both likely to have been well below Market, so difficult to know whether to follow....

Just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has helped me out so far.

Initial concern would be correlation with IERP & APT - I've got quite a lot of IERP.

But I'll have a look & ponder - buying a year ago would have turned out well!

My BGBL shares were held in my SIPP with Alliance Trust.

Heard from them yesterday that they would not hold unlisted shares and would sell them in week of 25th August regardless.

To me, this seemed to present the danger of a compulsory sale at a time when other holders were also being forced to sell - not appealing.

So, whilst I intended to hold them until the end, decided to sell this morning - 100,000 @ 12.45p. 14% gain over 2 months, which is fine - especially as most other things are not looking v pretty over the same timscale!.

I'm v keen on these liquidation scenarios - any more ideas? I already hold NRI, BBM (not quite the same, but similar) IERP, LSR, CDI, ACI, APT - in order of size of holding.

Well EAS thought it was a good deal, went up 20p on the day !!!
I just wonder now will we continue to trade as BGBL or will there be
a name change as we are now basically a software company..
