06/8/2013 23:02 | Well looking ok, I topped up another 50k at 7.7 at 11am to. You not looking to average down VATTETON? | g2theary
06/8/2013 16:25 | So 7/7.5p is that it, i don't want to wish my valuable time away, but i can't wait to see the outcome on the 15th. I agree with everything that has been previously posted (mg78). I need 17.5p to break even.( 2theary) Not the best investment i've ever made, but, certainly one of the more exciting. I want my money back. GLA | vatteton
06/8/2013 11:02 | Seems to be a real squeeze on stock which I think is set to become tighter as people accumulate and hold tightly ahead of the showdown next week. Market seems to be support the idea of change at this company. Should be a fascinating situation to watch play out. Will Peter Kennedy's hand be forced before the 15th? If there is a strategic buy order in place, the only way the mm's will get sufficient shares to change hands will be to raise the price. | mg78
06/8/2013 08:50 | g2heary - the shares will almost certainly begin to move on any reasonable buying due to a limited amount of stock in free float. Only around 25M up for grabs - very few indeed. hxxp://bglobalplc.co Martin Evans (11.57%) will be voting in favor of the resolutions next week. Other shareholders, including PI's, are being urged to vote in favor too....and I think they will. According to the last RNS: "We are aware that a number of shareholders have also voted in favour of the Resolutions already and Hawkwood Capital are very grateful for the indications of support received from the major shareholders it has spoken to (other than Peter Kennedy) and welcome the opportunity to speak to all shareholders in due course" All of the independent directors are voting for the resolutions. It could be that Peter Kennedy's holding has already been surpassed (?). Even still, I would not be surprised to see someone strategically come in for a chunk of stock ahead of the meeting next week. At such a low share price the future direction of the company can, at present, be purchased. | mg78
05/8/2013 22:53 | g2theary - I have talked with friends this evening. You may well be on the money. Will post more tomorrow. | mg78
05/8/2013 22:05 | Vatteton you still in from march? I sold all mine off at 10p, was looking at 3p the other day missed it and re-bought today the 16k 20k 15k and 12k trades between 15:01 and 15:06 are all mine. IMO 25p in the very short term! | g2theary
05/8/2013 17:50 | Not sure pr100. Opinion on LSE seems a little divided, although the majority seem to be in favor of the changes to occur. There is a reasonable argument for saying the share price could go on and prosper in the face of either outcome. It could be that P.K.'s hand is forced beyond the 15th, if the more up to date share structure becomes apparent. A resignation would be better than be ousted. I will be making some calls a little later and talk to some colleagues. It will be interesting to see this play out over the next week or so. | mg78
05/8/2013 17:33 | Strange and highly engineered share price rise. I don't think it was possible to sell more than 10k shares all day long in a single auto-trade. So it might be that we have a buyer who just wants to hoover up the little PIs' shares - perhaps assuming that these would have been votes in favour of the resolutions. | pr100
05/8/2013 17:30 | Some good discussion on LSE (London South East). | mg78
05/8/2013 16:55 | Well not the highest volume by any stretch of the imagination, but certainly the biggest buying spree for some time at bgbl. It's unusual to get a spate of buys here. Looks to me as though something may have been said - perhaps the sale of part of the business. Looking at the share structure I wouldn't be surprised to see someone, or a group of people, strengthen their position before the meeting next week. As you say, a lot will depend upon it. The business seems to have lost its way somewhat, but I've certainly seen worse sets of results and there does very much seem to be a business worth saving. All eyes on next week.......or before...... I follow a few other companies involved in the smart energy sector. | mg78
05/8/2013 16:16 | mg78 Mi Amigo, you will find here a great thread without any silly nonsence. Yes i've been around for a long time. I believe the company can progress. There's alot depending on the 15th of this mth.... DYOR. | vatteton
05/8/2013 16:05 | What are your thoughts Vatteton? I've watched BGBL fall for a long time and I've felt the company has been mismanaged. Seems there are some pretty angry major shareholders. Looks as though some fresh ideas are about to arrive here? | mg78
05/8/2013 16:02 | mg78 Wellcombe to the club | vatteton
05/8/2013 15:58 | Have been watching this company for a loooong time. That's a very public row going on at bglobal. Looks like news has leaked and someone knows something. Interesting situation. | mg78
02/8/2013 17:03 | Rising now - perhaps after clearance of overhang. | weatherman
01/8/2013 17:41 | Anyone care to comment on the 2mll x3 delayed trades this am 10.01 buys/sells ? | vatteton
31/7/2013 21:04 | weatherman I spoke to John Grant earlier this morning to pledge my interest. I thought i saw potential 3yrs ago in this company, but whithout any reciprocation, | vatteton
31/7/2013 20:11 | presumably he would wish the new guys to make as much money as possible for himself as the share price grows. He may vote against a sale of the whole business. But Hawkwood may not seek a sale of the whole business. | weatherman
31/7/2013 10:49 | weatherman As you know P K holds 23% of the comany, if Hawkwood are successful what will he do with the stake ? make life as difficult as possible ? I too have voted for change, interesting times ahead. | vatteton
31/7/2013 08:20 | I just bought some more at below the mid price at 3.65p - my own belief is that the time to buy is before the vote. I believe Hawkwood will be successful in their bid to replace the boss. The share price will then rise towards 10p in time as a new direction takes hold. The current mkt cap is close to net cash. All in my opinion - I may be wrong about the way the vote will go - and do your own research. | weatherman
31/7/2013 07:55 | id like to be a fly on the wall a that meeting. j. | jonnyno1
29/7/2013 16:32 | I need 17.5p to exit | vatteton
29/7/2013 10:13 | Utilsoft is profitable - and on its own could be worth more than the current business in total. Looks like the new chairman, if he gets in, will strip out the unprofitable divisions, which is long overdue, and maybe sell the remaining business for over 10p per share. Kennedy has been a block in the past but with him out of the way, it would be a buying opportunity imho. | pr100 |
