28/3/2013 17:04 | Afternoon H.... BG. is aquality company and I`ll be looking to get back in when I`m back in the UK..... still in Portugal on holiday at present and I put pretty tight stops on my portfolio before leaving as I didn`t want to get caught out with all these eurozone shenanigans when I couldn`t get quick access to news | philanderer

28/3/2013 11:42 | phillander, I am seriously toying with my ist purchase here. I see it was 1400p last year something hit it hard late in the year . So it is around 1130 level, resistance looks to be at around 1190. If it only gets to 1190 that's still 5-6 percent plus the divi with some chance of further upside if the markets are not already toppy ( which is very possible). I'm really looking for a direct way to cover my gas heating bills. It is a pleasant feeling to stuff the Utilities annual bill rises, by gaining from their almost guaranteed profitability. Or perhaps I should not be so exposed to exploration related stock like this one. views welcome. H. | hectorp
28/3/2013 09:46 | I'm a keen holder of BG, been buying on weakness. Trying to understand the large trades which occur every night at 16:30 ( circa 1.4Mn shares on 27th)- I'm not much of a short term trader, so can any of you punters explain what is happening? They seem to be going with momentum. I've also noticed it happening with British land BLND- is this common? | jaz36
27/3/2013 17:16 | Not surprisingly my stop got hit at 1130p today, it`s been a dreadful shareprice performance over the last few weeks Happy enough with a good profit from 1025p though. Luck to all holders and I`ll keep it on the watchlist. | philanderer
27/3/2013 16:35 | Hi mercury.."juicy dividend" am I reading the wrong sheet?Looks like 14 cents to me, hardly make an impact at these values? | bili1946
27/3/2013 09:16 | And remember a juicy dividend to be paid shortly which ought to support the price.I'm buying more at these levels | mercury123

25/3/2013 17:14 | Yep, that`s a poor market reaction today and to be honest BG. is behaving like a bit of a dog recently. Not rising when the market`s positive but certainly following it down every time, just like today. Tempted to take my profit here now. I think my stop will get hit tomorrow anyway. | philanderer

22/3/2013 07:31 | Britain has only two days' worth of gas left in reserve as the country braces itself for another spell of wintry weather that will force up energy bills. Stocks of gas have been drained in recent weeks as households have turned up the heating because of the unseasonably cold weather, pushing demand to 20 per cent higher than normal. Last night storage facilities were only 10 per cent full, compared with 49 per cent this time last year. Jefferies International Buy 1,160.25 1,160.00 1,700.00 1,700.00 Reiterates | skinny
