BG. always does this.....normally up on opening then within the first two hours drops 15-20p before finishing up again. Always tempted to sell first thing then buy back in but to be honest not worth the hassle.....just look at the chart and we are only going one way and that is towards 1400p...I am long and staying that way :-)

BG was up this morning and despite the good RNS, it is down now. I think the oil sector is nervous in case if the chancellor may make some changes to the oil taxation regime in today's budget. Any views?

"BG set to strike $20bn deal in India"

BG Group is to unveil a 20-year contract worth as much as $20bn to provide liquefied natural gas to the fast-growing western Indian state of Gujarat.

In 2011 the FTSE 100 oil and gas company entered an initial agreement with Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation, a state-owned distributor, to explore supplying as much as 2.5m tonnes of LNG per year.

However, on Wednesday the UK group will sign a final deal confirming the full value of the arrangement and the date of its commencement, according to people familiar with the process.

1200p looking unlikely today at the moment . Quarterly futures / options expiries kicking the market along with a negative note for RDSB hitting the sector.

My resistance of almost 1195 reached. Wait and see what happens tomorrow. OMHO, it will cross the 1200p and move to 1225p.
