It still a good price to short this, I am still sticking to the good information that I have from thise close to the company and they still tell me there is bad news in the offing which will drive this to £8.50, no growth, more profit warnings the current price is crazy.

BG Group has a 30% interest in the mid and south Tapti gas fields and the Panna/Mukta oil and gas fields in India. In June 2012, BG Group and its partners reached oil and gas production of 500 mmboe from these fields.

Daily Mail market report:

Perennial takeover favourite BG Group rose 17.5p to 1114p as broker RBC Capital Markets turned bullish after a 20-month stint of just neutral on the stock.
The broker says the market is now missing attributes once taken for granted. Its new stance is not predicated on any corporate approach, but estimates a buyer could get extensive assets in Brazil at a discount. Its target price is 1360p.

Phil, your wife was right. Attempted to go out the side door to the garage to get some lamb pieces in for the w/e. A 2ft snow drift was against the outside of the door- lucky i brought my shovel & boots inside last night. Great quality snow.

Thanks flyfisher, nice move in the share price this week anyway. I reckon the new top man will want to say something positive with those Q4 numbers in a couple of weeks.

Phil , They estimated that a buyer could get extensive assets in Brazil at a discount, BG's proven reserves at $4/boe, and a global LNG business essentially for free at the present share price.
I seem to remember that the chinese paid over $6/boe for the galp sale last year.

BG Group plc (LON:BG) is one of the winners on the broker board this morning; BG received a rare upgrade from RBC Capital Markets.

RBC Capital Markets has upgraded to Outperform from Sector Perform. Target share price is maintained at 1360.

morning philanderer- BG. now has a nice looking chart and seems to be heading back to 1200 resistance level in time . I do not understand why tweeeek did not close out at £10 area after it did a double bum as he could always open a new short later .

We have now completed the "double bottom". Yesterdays close was above the high inbetween the 2 lows. So far we are making progress towards a chartbased 'buy' signal. It depends on todays close.

At least they are now above what i topped up at.

Why bother? Shed loads coming down here since 5a.m.
