LAM possibly just a good day trade at times Tweeeek using my CFD account and a tad risky to take it overnight but that can apply to many stocks .

Must agree with arja on LAM, I was tempted last year when it dived but never pressed the buy button, far to occupied shorting this one.

Shouldn't be long with the downgrades and sell notes are issued by the very brokers trying to ramp it up.

Managed a good trade on LAM early last year and got out before the first of several profit warnings that followed. Luck to those that hold but not one for me.

2p a day on BG. for 2013 would do fine ;-)

that LAM has a nice looking chart but presumably a speculative type of stock in financial difficulties some time ago ? Worth keeping on my watchlist though and thanks for mentioning it !

these analysts get it right sometimes but not often . I had an aussie mate who made money doing the opposite of what they said !

Still plenty to go for on RRS I reckon Tweeeek, it`s gone sub 5800p and doesn`t look like stopping.... Even Petropavlovsk is outperforming it by a mile over the last month. Something definitely wrong with Randgold.

edit: I`ve dumped the rest of my RRS so I shan`t be whinging anymore :-)

Dreadful investment, one of my very worst.

I agree philanderer RRS would have been a nice short but I got slaughtered on that one last year, but just about made up the losses incurred on that one.

very nice and I was indifferent to the sun in oz but maybe not on my return after all the UK damp and wet weather - nice to be able to swim in the warm ocean most of the year ! Yes, RRS in US now at 93.86 sadly .

Cheap prices in Spain arja, but I can get down to Nice in two hours from where I live ,and I`m down there a couple of times a month. Nearly always sunny :-)

As for RRS, my worst investment for years and it`s heading back to it`s recent lows of 5500p in a matter of days the way it`s going !

probably a smart move philanderer as US chart does say support level is about $80 and gold uynder 1650 again today - I too use BYR policy quite a lot .
Nice ! sounds good and I would think about buying in Spain or Portugal but likely to return to OZ this year .

Thanks arja , I sold half my holding in RRS this morning, cash going towards a small property in Nice at the end of the month. Still got a fair sized holding though.

Good management at RRS , I like Bristow.

philanderer- gold stocks in OZ are also in a downtrend for a while with occasional bounce on a gold price uptick . Reason for drop today is because randgold futures price in US has fallen to about $94.20 at the moment and US is still lead market . But RRS is a quality gold stock and should do well when gold price makes a solid recovery .

octopus100, I don't need to deramp I am merely stating the information I have and my interpretation of it and the charts.

I also thing you are being extremely derogatory to others on this board if you think anyone will base there decision on what is posted on here.
