16/10/2018 19:54 | Whether this is true or not, I do not know. | dogberry202000
16/10/2018 18:27 | If the directors believed this to be the case, then surely they wouldn't just scale down, they would shut up shop now and walk away rather than waste any more money. But I very much doubt this to be the case. Anyway, I thought the locals were in favour of this project because it will give them lots of employment, and I would have thought that the Spanish government would want more employment also, given the state of their economy. | vatnabrekk
16/10/2018 16:05 | look like this goin to the teens now dunnit project gonna get out back to 2050 yous all be 6ft under or in cry o genic pods smokin chocolate fireguard bky share certifciates it over kids just drop em at pool and flush | fsawatcher
16/10/2018 09:26 | They only need nuclear power plants to meet climate goals. | prem124
16/10/2018 08:18 | I agree with dogberry. It simply has to happen but probably later rather than sooner. I'm gonna buy back in shortly | fatboy20
15/10/2018 08:39 | Personally, I think the mine will be built but the time period will be elongated so the company is right to conserve their resources. They also have no choice. Politically, the current Spanish Government recognises that they will not meet climate change proposals under their current policies It's going to be a matter of time before they embrace reality and accept nuclear power and uranium mining. Political reality often has a time lag. As was said by greedfear, supply is meanwhile cut while this mine is delayed. I do not own any BKY.. | dogberry202000
15/10/2018 08:09 | I don't understand why they wouldn't get a permit. With the current state of the Spanish economy, I would have thought that the authorities would welcome any increase in employment potential. | vatnabrekk
15/10/2018 07:34 | Not looking good for BKY, but better for investors in the uranium sector as a whole. The uranium price must rise, for that any cut in (potential) supply is welcomed. I do feel BKY will get their license but it’s going to take much longer than expected. | greedfear
15/10/2018 07:12 | In a nutshell: "The timing of the award of the Urbanism Licence continues to remain uncertain, is outside of the Company's control, and is unlikely to be received imminently. As a result, the Company is initiating a cost reduction programme which, amongst other things, is likely to mean a reduction in the Company's local and corporate costs and its commitment to various local sponsorship arrangements." Unlikely to be received imminently + Cost reduction programme. Omenous. Good luck to Berkeley but it seems that permitting has reached an impasse. ALL IMO> DYOR. QP | quepassa

11/10/2018 10:33 | Political uncertainty. If the project is a goer, then this goes very high. If not, this is zero. Touch and go whether this'll get the nod, imo. | the deacon
11/10/2018 10:14 | What's going on here guys?? | laptop15
04/10/2018 09:25 | The performance (round figures) of the three UK listed main uranium GBP plays on the London market: Yellowcake up 20% since August flotation Geiger up 25% over 1 year BKY down 30% over 1 year ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
03/10/2018 11:14 | The recent share price weakness may be connected to an FT investigation which has swallowed hook line and sinker the dodgy dossier put together by the greens some years back. Watch this space. | wiseacre
02/10/2018 20:52 | i sead in july that company not tellin shreholder truth about permit issues they fink wees fick , but i ave mate who got granma who got daughter with son with wide in laws whos live near mine and they knot goin for yellow cake in theirs allotmant so say all of us it mean this aint goin to happen fo bky i amaszed this aint 10p nows i look baccy in a month but fink it goin into 20's | fsawatcher
02/10/2018 13:15 | I looked at this and concluded risks too high and so it seems to be ... Cameco became my bet as I do believe the uranium market is going to turn, they are well run, solvent, just won a (potentially subject to appeal) tax case that had held share price down and meanwhile reactors will need to be fueled, other mines have paused or stopped, demands for low-CO2 energy are still increasing ... DYOR! | bhoddhisattva
01/10/2018 12:33 | QP - whatever the situation is now regarding outstanding permits, these will become open doors if CSN gives approval. The bet on this share/company is CSN response. It will be a yes or a no, or subject to as yet unknowable conditions. Place your bets now, but this is no way an investment in a uranium stock.. | langostino
28/9/2018 14:27 | Not longer worth putting your money in. Far better uranium plays out there without the risk. I can see this going south much much deeper. Sorry holders. Not a holder but if I was I would not think twice about selling (regardless of any loss). | greedfear
28/9/2018 13:15 | Friend who visits this region says no way the mine will be built as BKY envisage. Also NAV of 22p not v encouraging, even though a lot of the resource is not allowed for. Jumped ship I'm afraid. Best of luck to those still holding. j | jswjsw
27/9/2018 15:02 | YES! -Because Berkeley in my opinion thought they would get all the necessary permitting to allow them to go into production without too much difficulty and so they spent money stripping the land and getting ready. But from what i can see they are facing mounting objection to the mine. - And now because there is a seeming impasse on two important licences, they want to support and make more visible the "Si a la Mina" group and do all they can to promote the project in the media in the face of growing opposition from the greens and stopuranio. I hope Berkeley get the approvals but the mayor of Retortillo seems in a recent YouTube video on 23rd September to be saying that the approval for the Licencia Urbanistica is not going to happen. I don't know if what he is saying is right and I hope he's wrong, for Berkeley's sake, but what I do know is that the situation with the two outstanding permits seems to be a real mess. Good luck all. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
25/9/2018 15:13 | Hi can anyone explain to me how is it that the company has been spending so much money by way of PR in the area on the locals, and money spent on building at the mine sit. When the whole project hinges on a licence for the final go ahead to mine. I been invested over the last couple of years in which I thought I stop concerning about the risk of company shares once they started the construction of the mine.I still hold share but not as many but depending on the out come I will add or exit. | bipos |
