06/11/2017 15:00 | Lango you have been posting at every juncture about what is not going to happen based on some random Spanish newspaper article. You posted repeatedly that BKY would not get financed etc. So are you now saying the Company will not be able to draw on the Oman funding? | herlat1
06/11/2017 13:55 | Not sure any funding agreement will do the trick. The Emir is not going to part with real money until/unless the Energy Minister issues the processing permit based on the CSN report in a year or so. This is just place your bets time. | langostino
04/11/2017 19:41 | Once the company has shareholder approval and the funding agreements are signed at the end of this month the company can embark on an institutional roadshow which should allow a sustained rise in the share price. In the meantime it is foolish to fret. | wiseacre
31/10/2017 10:59 | Thank you for that information chaps. I am a long-term holder myself. Let's hope it tests previous highs in coming months. I am just frustrated that each piece of good news recently is followed by a 20% rise then it disappointingly falls back. | liambilson
31/10/2017 09:53 | liambilson, Further to rvsy38's considered reply, one could also add two points: The share price is a product of the market, so supply and demand are what dictate the price. Market manipulation (of the legal sort) is fine (eg releasing accurate good news data) but if this does not stimulate demand then the BKY stock price treads water. Secondly, this is a thin market: the top 20 shareholders (many long term holders) control 87.75% of the stock. (Source: BDO Australia independent expert's report on BKY, October 2017) | rotors
26/10/2017 11:20 | Did anyone ask him why the share price has declined 35% despite all the seemingly positive news? | liambilson
26/10/2017 08:59 | Lots of well informed industry experts present. Oman deal looks a coup. Ironically BKY need a low U3O8 spot price for a while longer to diminish competition until production finally starts. | rotors
26/10/2017 08:25 | It was a really worthwhile event. Approx 50 shareholders attended. PA and Hugo Schummann spoke and lots of Q and A. | herlat1

10/10/2017 07:54 | Repost from lse: Excellent NewsBerkeley praised by Spanish media and regional government Both local and national media has reacted positively to a press conference held by Chief Operating Officer, Francisco Bellon, in Salamanca last week. Local paper, Tribuna de Salamanca, highlighted that "con Berkeley va a acabar el desempleo en la provincia de Salamanca" [unemployment will disappear in the province of Salamanca thanks to Berkeley]. The Minister for the Environment, Juan Carlos Suárez-Quiñones, spoke at a press conference for the Consejo de Gobiero and praised Berkeley's investment in the region and its promise of job creation. All articles noted that major contracts will be awarded before the end of the year and that development of the project is based on four fundamental pillars: respect for the environment, total and absolute respect for both health and safety, full commitment to the local communities and full commitment to transparency. Managing Director, Paul Atherley, commented: "It's fantastic to have such strong media support which reflects the growing awareness of the benefits the investment is bringing to the community. Creating badly needed jobs is extremely important to us and we will continue to run training courses, equipping local residents with the skills needed for the 450 long term jobs the project is creating. We have commenced recruiting and are prioritizing jobs for locals. We are delighted to have received applications from over 110 of the 400 permanent residents of the nearby village of Villavieja, which gives some idea of the strength of the local support for the investment. We plan to have employed over 80 residents by next year." | herlat1
