12/8/2017 05:21 | fenners,Surely your better off buying RDSB,because RDSA,has a 15% Netherland witholding tax deducted at source.Been there owned both, and RDSB is the one to own. | garycook
12/8/2017 00:26 | thanks redips - I bought some RDSA a couple of weeks ago - maybe I should buy some more... | fenners66
11/8/2017 10:50 | Me too - been in for a few years so have had good dividends and growth - expect the £1 will come off for xd and maybe some more with that , so may come back if the yield pushes up again. Its been a good ride - now need to look around for another hi-yield | fenners66
11/8/2017 09:18 | That's me out for now, selling into what I presume is more buyback activity this morning. They used a lot of ammunition yesterday (180k shares bought in the buyback) and I fear gravity may be setting in. | 1gw
10/8/2017 16:24 | Sold another tranche there, so a relatively small holding left now. Surprised that they were buying so high yesterday and wondering if they were in the market today but with less impact. When I compare relative share price between BKG and my other 2 housebuilder holdings, TEF (London-focused) and CRST (SE-focused) over the last 2 or 3 months the relative outperformance of BKG is impressive, and I wonder how much of that is down to share buyback. I am happy for the buybacks to continue if management genuinely believe the stock is significantly undervalued, but for now I've decided to take advantage of the buyback by selling into the shareprice strength rather than wait for the increased earnings to come through. | 1gw
08/8/2017 16:44 | Strong finish. | 1gw
07/8/2017 07:18 | Yes - BKG buying from 3416p to 3488p on Friday. | 1gw
04/8/2017 14:56 | I suspect the market is taking the view that due to this [potential] review/change, there'll be less house-move chains formed towards at the lower end, hence knock-on right on upwards. That said BKG is back in +ve territory right now, not sure how I'd feel is that is due to our next div being spent on buy-backs. | jrphoenixw2
04/8/2017 13:06 | Could this play in BKGs favour - ie safe haven. | r ball
04/8/2017 12:27 | Yup. Less exposed. | r ball
03/8/2017 16:29 | BKG in 2nd place in the FTSE-250, higher market-capn wise than the bottom five of the '100'. Going in the right direction! | jrphoenixw2
03/8/2017 15:47 | Took some more profit at 3535. | 1gw
28/7/2017 11:10 | Good point, his last purchase was on Tuesday and he's now at -0.97% Promotion to the big-board who cost him dear. | jrphoenixw2
28/7/2017 10:00 | Odey still winding down their short position, now back under 1%. | bluemango
28/7/2017 09:48 | BKG in 2nd place in the FTSE-250, higher market-capn wise than the bottom four of the '100'. Next reshuffle due end August. Promotion would be a nice way to round off the summer. | jrphoenixw2
27/7/2017 11:30 | It touched 3508, highest since late Jan 2016 :) | jrphoenixw2
27/7/2017 09:20 | Is this a 35 I see before me? | 1gw
26/7/2017 09:38 | Good point, that's 85p higher than previous from 2 weeks ago. Raising the bar and giving the shorts something new to think about. Small as you say but daily vol was only 415k. Just for the record: Cost = £1.358M 'Date: 25 July 2017 Number: 40,378 Highest px: 3375p Lowest px: 3353p Volume weighted avg px: 3363.2734p Broker: UBS Following the purchase of these Shares, the Company holds 3,395,315 of its Shares in Treasury and has 136,761,868 Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares). 26/7/2017 09:18 | Another significant step up in the price at which they're prepared to buy back. Only 40k shares, but went up to 3375p yesterday. | 1gw
19/7/2017 18:53 | Short tracker has the shorts at almost 18 month low | fenners66
19/7/2017 17:47 | I noticed it started quiet but some really chunky volume begun coming in around lunchtime UK/the US open. Still, at daily vol of 378k vs avg vol of 637k that's only 59% so summer-zzzz. Meanwhile I wonder how Odey is doing. Just over a month to the next X/D... | jrphoenixw2
19/7/2017 16:22 | Encouraging to see that we've left the buybacks behind, so the current phase of the rally is not just down to that. | 1gw |
