That's the one. They have to carry out field trial before full launch, so 2019 might be correct still.

Does anyone know which product this is from half year presentation on website. From the product pipeline in the breeding genetics looks like it could be the one below although it was supposed to be launched in 2019? Size of peak sales supposed to be £32m?

Valuing this stock on earnings makes no sense in my view - the company has been ploughing money into a slew of new products, and building its new Braintree plant. Valuing it on revenues makes more sense - currently around 2.5x. Now the tricky bit - successful Biotech in the development phase can go as high as 10x, but that's not appropriate here, given the different businesses they have. If you believe that the new salmon vaccine and other products will be successful, then 5x sales would seem fair, which takes you to around 90p per share on current revenues, but remember revenues will also be growing strongly. So, good progress this year could result in a 3 digit price again in 12 months time, but we do need to see the progress!

Price points for fish an absolute fraction of the price you put on keeping a human healthy and I don't think I need to explain why! Can never spend more on a fish than the price to sell it, and realistically, any cost to process/keep a fish healthy needs to be extremely small so that fisheries/manufacturers/retailers can maintain margins.

Depends if you think there are more fish or more people on the planet I guess lol. I think there are probably more fish on the basis that people are higher in the food chain and well, I've eaten more fish than people so far in my life
