I disagree. I think the Management know exactly what they're doing. As far as I am concerned, this is a "bottom drawer" stock with a great future. A future that is not being sacrificed on the altar of imprudent, hyped, growth.

Thanks Edmond - still remains the jam tomorrow stock doesn't it. eps of 1.8p in 2020giving a 30x PE is not exactly exceptional value for firm who's management appears to be rather directionless. TBH, I rather hope they do a lot better than that!!

Just to mention that Benchmark will have a stand and be presenting at our huge Mello2018 event in Derby on 26th/27th April and all shareholders and potential investors are welcome to attend

BMK have never presented at a Mello event before and we are very pleased to welcome them so this is an ideal opportunity to meet the management and hear about their strategy.

Do come and join us at this quality two day event and there will be at least 50 other companies to meet each day plus some fabulous keynote speakers

Fair. Big question is how do you value this thing? Looks expensive on conventional PE metrics etc. so what should I be looking at do you think?

I think they will execute and I think they have all the cash they need - except for possible acquisitions, which, if any, would only in a case of exceptional opportunitiy. In my view they are a unique Company in a very fastest expanding food industry, with a unique range of products and services. But do your own research - that's only my opinion.

While true, the valuation here is quite incredible. If they fail to execute, could easily halve

Excellent Company in my opinion. Put it in your bottom drawer and forget about it for 2 years. Exellent products and services in a fast expanding industry with lots of biological challenges for which Benchmark can provide solutions.

There are several support levels below here, where the share price could find a floor. But if anyone's concerned where the ultimate floor potentially lies and if everything goes wrong, here's what I left out from my original post and the one directly below. - I'll be a buyer here, should it floor in the 30p's. It's being doing these spikes and troughs like clockwork for years and I thought if it doesn't break out and scream past the 60's good and proper then it may revert to its historical pattern. It's done so now ever since its listing 4 years back. Breaking past 60's and not re-visiting would have broken the long term established trend. But it didn't.

Surprised how this has dropped. No longer a holder but obviously still on my watchlist. Seemed to get ahead of itself in that run from 55p to 80p I guess

Just browsing by chance before turning in. What a retrace. I refer you to my post of 182 (9th Dec?) And my fear of letting the whole of the 60's area slip from your grasp and the potential downside if it does. May well be wrong but I was taking my cue from a long term trend and it would have to be sub 60's to kick in. Nobody knows anything for certain regarding future prices so maybe the share price will find a floor soon and my 60p's post will be just a fear that turns out to be unwarranted.
