Board changes

Belvoir Lettings PLC (AIM: BLV), the UK's largest property franchise, announces that, after over five years of service to the Belvoir board, Nicholas Leeming is stepping down as a non-executive director of the Company with effect from 10 April 2018 and Michael Stoop is joining the Board as non-executive director with immediate effect.

After starting his Estate Agency career with M Winkworth plc, Michael joined the Legal & General Group in 1992, where he was instrumental in setting up Legal & General Franchising Ltd, successfully converting its corporate estate agency business into a wholly franchised network before being sold to The Property Franchise Group plc ("TPFG", formerly Martin & Co plc) in 2014. On completion of the transaction, Michael became Group Managing Director of TPFG, with his association with the Company ending in July 2017. Michael has been a member of The Property Ombudsman Ltd since 2001, becoming its Vice Chairman in December 2015. He was appointed a Non-Executive Director of Sorbet HQ Limited in February 2018.

Following Nick's retirement, Michael Stoop will take over the role of Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and become a member of the Audit Committee.
