18/8/2004 08:40 | Was Belgravia admitted to AIM with the intention of taking on the Glow customers ? Have these directors been scheming behind the shareholders backs ? Any company connected with Glow Communications needs to be looked at carefully. I wouldn`t touch them with a barge pole. These directors do not understand the meaning of the word "Communication". | tyranosaurus
17/8/2004 16:43 | So CT Is this what you meant??? Glow Communications PLC 17 August 2004 For immediate release GLOW COMMUNICATIONS PLC ('GLOW') INTENTION TO CANCEL AIM ADMISSION Glow announces its intention to apply to the London Stock Exchange for the Admission to trading of its Ordinary Shares on AIM to be cancelled. The Board of Glow believes that it is best able to deal with the business rationalisation and historic litigation mentioned in its latest annual report and accounts, together with a subsequent claim alleging guarantees that the company does not recognise, as an unquoted company. A circular containing the background to and details of the proposed cancellation of Admission will be posted to shareholders shortly and a further announcement will be made at that time. 11/8/2004 16:21 | CT Just for info, one to watch, I had some very good info five or six years ago on Synstar and it rose through the clouds from sixty odd pence to £1.80 at which point I bailed out (although it zoomed on to £2.30). Just been punted for a takeover by Hewlett Packard at offer price of £1.00 and could make it a target for other bidders. Might be a good hold if your interested but DYOR. Balmcake | balmcake
11/8/2004 16:08 | CT correct me if I'm wrong but if there is no public news the only reason the prices would would be as a result of chit chat (presentations from the board?) to the Institutions hence MM influencing upward movement? If so, might there be some positive activity in the near future? And with Glow on the up too is there something about to cheer my day? Is this anything to do with your earlier posting relating to: "When i have time, i will post more info and possible links with reasons why its worth watching now."? Balmcake | balmcake
11/8/2004 14:17 | MM..walking it back up as there was no interest in it at the lower levels either. I notice Glow on the up as well today. I think something could be about to happen. Not sure it will do you any favours mind you but I think it will have a knock on effect in time, if I am correct. | clocktower
04/8/2004 15:52 | Not to serious then... I will post when I think it maybe of help and stick up my e-mail address for you. Been there myself. | clocktower
03/8/2004 10:46 | Holding 25000 @ average of £0.14 but wrote this off a long time ago so as I say, anything upwrads is a plus. As I've wrote this off I'll just sit and wait until the end of the world to see what occurs. Worst case scenario I don't get a return, best case is I might see something by retirement. I seem to be a bit of a jonah with shares. After buying into MUFC @ £0.97 I got out at £1.50. Look at it now. Balmcake | balmcake |
