I could (have used it in the past) but doensnt make sense as I added at 106p earlier this week! As the share price didnt fly today I wonder if they will even get the £12m they are looking for. If they do and there is excess demand price will rise. So, your choice! All purchases go into your dealing not ISA account however

I’d only bother with primary bid if they were at a decent discount to share price but they’re at a premium.

Hi everyone,

My mate Peter @Conkers3 and myself did a ‘Twin Petes Investing’ Podcast last week and part of our discussion includes BEG which I really like the look of. As always we also chatted about loads of other Stocks and Ideas for research and a fair bit of educational stuff with regards to Investing and Portfolio Management.

This one covers our thoughts on where the Markets are now and what we think is most likely going to confront us in coming months and what our strategies are. Specific topics in this one include the impact of Storytelling on our Brains and it also has a chunk on reasons for Retirement and we have found lots of Listeners seemed to like that.

Anyway, if you use Youtube, Apple, Audioboom, Overcast, Google+ or Spotify you can find it under the 'Conkers Corner' Channel (you want Podcast TPI 43) and you can find it on Soundcloud at the link below.

I hope you enjoy it and find it useful, we try to keep them light and they are totally unscripted, with the intent being that it is like you are eavesdropping on us having a chat down the pub (we can dream !!).

Cheers, WD

An excellent growth record across the economic cycle (16% CAGR in adj. EPS over 4 years) and strong prospects (+50% EPS growth forecast in next 2 years) are not yet reflected in Begbies shares rating.

Equity Development see fair value at 140p, full initiation note just published and freely available here:

PBT keeps going up - this is a classic earnings momentum play! From beating gbp9.8m in the prior trading update, to now beating gbp10.7m.End year might be be £11m PBT I reckon, and a 6.8p eps.

Very solid update. The reassuring thing is that the core business continues to perform solidly whilst the financial support measures are in place

Muckshifter, I hope you're right too! I'm a holder but just calling out the likely scenarios good and bad.Just had a read through the FRP results today. Surprised BEG has declined today. Surely a competitor beating market forecasts is a gold sign for other companies in the industry too?

Hope, and believe you're wrong boonkoh, I think there are far to many targets for the money hose to be successful, and BEG pick up many of the insolvencies of smaller and consequently more vulnerable companies, which don't interest the KPMG type practitioners.

That's the concern. But we should be taking advantage of the dips. Because when the merry go round stops this will be collecting the fares

Logically, Rishi should rein in the spending balance the books. Which means more insolvencies for Begbies. However, in reality the taps will probably be further opened, to keep all the zombie companies going. Kick the can down the road, at least till the next election. Begbies revenues stagnate, valuation too high, shares drop back down.

Back in this week at 103...like many here, I see great value based on the planned attack on the economy which is and continues to cause absolute chaos and economic devastation...

I don't suppose he has any limits,as long as he has access to "funnymoney ".But, back to reality which the inland revenue and customs and excise live in, they will always want their account settled as preferential creditors, however smart the insolvency strategy may be.

Exactly..market not making much sense at the moment, everyone chasing the money, bubbles being created everywhere the amount of junk doing well is crazy. If this and FRP are not 30-40 percent up in the next 6 months I will eat my non existent hat

I did notice that BEG is lining up for a very pretty cup and handle - might even be able to drink some tea from it!

In 2009 when the sh1t hit the fan they went 100% in 6 months - believe in your gut and not the charts.

Thanks Martinpmh boonkoh for your views, the movement of FRP and BEG don't seem to reflect the impending reality to me..... Rishi must eventually have limits.
