UJO's Wressle field had the same teething problems - initial production was a huge disappointment but a successful proppant squeeze led to sustained production of over 750bpd, significantly above the expected 500bpd

Hello LAW. I've not seen a link to the Schwarzbach Field development plan yet, but I did pick up some interesting gossip a while ago. Apparently the Schwarzbach -2 well is still doing under 100 bopd, possibly no better than 50 bopd, albeit with a very low 2.5% water cut and the gas / oil ratio less than 100 cubic feet / barrel. So it's quite a low energy reservoir if this is true, or maybe it's been damaged by drilling mud, or the drilling itself. Make of that what you will, as it may not be reliable, or perhaps very out of date info.

The previous owner (publicly listed) could not produce from these fields profitably after hefty investment. This time it's different with Beacon doing it on the cheap?

currently 40bpd or about £900k gross pa
rod pump max 250bpd or about £5.7m gross pa
possible 900bpd or about £20.7m gross pa

The upside for production is very significant, the share price will respond once we have good news, until then an mcap of £12m is quite reasonable imo

over the last 2 years Wressle has produced 700bpd-800bpd, they installed 3 C65 micro-turbines for on-site gas-to-wire. If efelden produces anywhere near 900bpd it seems likely there will be a lot more gas to deal with, perhaps they will re-inject the gas along with the water but that may be years in the future.
Does anyone have a link to the FDP? thx.

morning all, I recently emailed the company regarding gas & water, here is the answer I received this morning.

my questions - "I have looked through your Finals & Interims RNSs but can find no mention of your plans for gas produced at Erfelden. Can you confirm that you are currently flaring and if so, is there is an emissions limit in place? What plans do you have for gas-to-grid or gas-to-wire? (either on-site power or export) Do you have plans for LNG production? Is there currently any water-cut? Do you have plans to re-inject the water if it becomes significant?"

===============================================================

Thank you for your email, which we are responding to in our capacity as IR/PR for Beacon Energy. Firstly, apologies for the delay in responding.

The field produces only very small volumes of gas (associated with the oil production) which are utilised for heating at the facility. They do not routinely flare at site apart from when required. The volume of gas does not justify any gas sales. Water production is also very low. As part of development drilling, it is likely that one or two wells will be drilled as water injectors to maintain reservoir pressure. Timing and number of water injector wells will be determined as part of the updated field development plan.

Hi mate ..yes still here .. In my view the share price will float around where we are now to .09Missed the 0.875 to pick up a few cheap ones but maybe there'll be another chance . Until the stimulation takes place which was to take place last week Jan for a week so news maybe 1st or 2nd week Feb ..bit of a hefty cost ( 500K ) for a weeks work lol . Interesting thing is the Dutch outfit taking a good stake .. Target has to be 0.16 where the R is . This can move quickly as we've seen in the past so hopefully 0.20 will be realised if we get some decent news on the stimulation . Happy NY mate PJ

I found this on the German website - no mention of gas in the Q&A

What does Rhein Petroleum do with the salty reservoir water that is pumped upwards with the oil?

The salty, highly mineralized brine is not drinking water and must not be mixed with it. Either the brine is returned to the layers from which it was taken via another borehole, or it is disposed of professionally by waste management companies.

what are the plans for the gas, will it be flared, if so is there an emissions limit in place? Are there plans for GTW or GTG or even LNG?
Also, at some point the well will probably encounter water, will they re-inject it or dispose of it? thx.
