09/10/2008 01:35 | A few lemmings jumped last few days .. next Q results will be interesting. We know Palm CPO started moving down last Qtr and is now 60% off peak, so that side of the business will fall off sharply for now as all commodities. We had a catasphrophe in T&C. They are a bank primarily so lets see if theres been any effect of the crunch or provisions for bad debt... The plus side is strength of $. Still on a very low PE but now its joined by everything else ! | woracle
06/10/2008 13:39 | LOL. Looks like more lemming buying..those stragglers that received their copy in the post late I suspect ! Ashcroft will be moping things up I suspect anyway .. | woracle
06/10/2008 11:23 | Haven`t noticed any Money Week Lemmings selling today. This Lemming is not for selling. | pip_uk
04/10/2008 00:49 | LOL, they didnt convince that many people ! Bit scary for Monday with FTSE futures down 150, could be a sharp exit for some of these Moneyweek lemmings.. I pray the newspapers don't enduce more gloom and doom and Asia doesnt panic ! | woracle
04/10/2008 00:35 | Money Week tipped this today | shonny
03/10/2008 22:05 | So who just tipped this then. No other explanation for the flurry of buys ! | woracle
07/9/2008 15:06 | Hurricane Ike has devastated TCI this weekend. Lets hope things get back to normal as soon as possible. No doubt the economy will get hit and likely will be a rise in bad debts as tourism and property are hugely affected. | woracle
15/8/2008 11:42 | There's a little more whoosh but that chap at undervalued-shares.c | woracle
14/8/2008 17:53 | Likely, yes. Although what I just ordered hardly creates a woosh :-) Interesting story, let's hope it goes somewhat like the Rothschild recommendation... | martyc
14/8/2008 17:22 | So no doubt another whoosh in the morning then..:) | woracle
14/8/2008 16:48 | Yes, it was covered on Undervalued-Shares.c | chokuto
14/8/2008 15:53 | On 2nd thoughts..probably been tipped somewhere. Rather a lot of trades for BBHL ! | woracle
14/8/2008 15:46 | Just basic supply and demand causing movement in an illiquid stock in my view. Otherwise every $ earning stock would be moving up last 2 days.. | woracle
14/8/2008 15:41 | Todays rise : dollar earnings IMO (in view of falling £). | skyracer
29/7/2008 14:51 | I think they know PE is not 2 anyway. EPS this year should be around 130c current growth rates. | woracle
29/7/2008 13:41 | p/e of two Ashcroft and Glaze buying shares (1m recently) deliberately playing down announcements and PR numar performing brilliantly onesource sold for 6 x share price they know something we don't know That's a certainty how long we would have to wait to share in the upside is less certain | tiredandweary
28/7/2008 22:14 | Might get around to adding a few more myself but in no rush really. A shedload more options at 350p but I guess you can't really blame management for issuing them. Share price hardly reflects progress so incentives haven't been worth much of late. Good to see Dollar denominated earnings are increasing. | nickcduk
28/7/2008 19:01 | another set of solid results. 30c better than i expected. New young dynamic ceo too. | woracle
25/7/2008 09:01 | Added a few today. If its good enough for Ashcroft and the CFO at 220, good enough for me at 218. Q1 results should confirm last years steady progress, and we know Numar will make a strong contribution with CPO up 50% on Q1 last year, looking for 28 to 29c myself. | woracle
16/5/2008 09:54 | CPO average was 780 for 2007. Currently 1125 average in 2008. Numar also in feedstock production, another booming area. Pity no dividends whilst we wait for the realisation by Ashcroft.. hes getting on a bit so maybe not too far away. | woracle
16/5/2008 09:01 | Cracking set of results. Story is building up nicely. I reckon their stake in Numar is worth the current market cap alone. With CPO prices where they are Numar will have an exceptional year again. Banking division seems to be flourishing and becoming less dependent on Belize. Im not sure we will get much institutional or private shareholder interest any time soon. I think our reward will come when Ashcroft engineers a sale of the 2 businesses. Should wake up one day and see a premium of 100% or so. It would be a bit greedy to expect the 600%+ premium that he got for OSS! | nickcduk
16/5/2008 08:05 | solid results. Historic pe 4.8. Trading at just over NAV. No subprime rubbish. Noone will notice today but one day .. | woracle
08/2/2008 09:20 | The CPO average this years is so far 15% higher than Q4. Also Indonesia has just set up some pretty punitive export taxes on its CPO, and being the largest grower may restrict world supply. That will only increase global CPO price and be of benefit to non-Indo suppliers.. like NUMAR | woracle
27/1/2008 14:31 | NAV = 1.2 market capitalisation. Cheap for a bank (emerg mark); | philou100 |
