Few more details from BATM Telco about the update. This was posted in November 2017. this recent update follows on from this earlier notice
The company is now reporting a 28% increase after reporting a 20% increase from the preceding period.
Its this strength of follow on that you really want to see.......

Press Releases November 2017

Telco Systems Reports Over 20% Sales Growth for MEF CE 2.0 Compliant Devices in North America

Company cites sales growth driven by increasing demand from communications service providers for more wholesale and business services and bandwidth

MANSFIELD, MA, November 13, 2017 — Telco Systems, the leading provider of innovative SDN/NFV, CE 2.0, MPLS and IP solutions, today announced that the company experienced in the period ending on June 2017 over 20% year-to-year growth in shipments of its MEF CE 2.0 compliant devices across North America.

Telco Systems reports that this growth in sales is primarily being driven by an increased rollout of the company’s demarcation and aggregation products used by communications services providers (CSPs) to enable wholesale and business services such as Direct Internet Access (DIA), Layer 2 and Layer 3 VPN, Ethernet Network-to-Network Interface (ENNI), E-Rate and Cloud Access services.

In particular, Telco Systems is experiencing strong demand for its 100GE T-Metro 8100 service demarcation and aggregation platform. T-Metro 8100 is designed for service providers that need high reliability and flexibility to aggregate multiple services over 1GE, 10GE and 100GE port rates in metro Ethernet environments. T-Metro 8100 provides carrier-grade service scalability and resiliency along with a comprehensive feature set that supports QoS and OAM capabilities.

“We recently took the strategic decision to standardize our network infrastructure with Telco Systems’ MEF CE 2.0 devices and over the past year we have significantly increased our use of these solutions,” explained Ronald Shelton, Director of IP Networks at MetroNet. “Telco Systems and its innovative service demarcation and aggregation solutions have positioned MetroNet to meet the constantly increasing demand to deliver more services and more bandwidth. We are particularly excited about the T-Metro 8100 service capabilities for higher bandwidth applications.”

Over the past year, Telco Systems has added twelve new CSP customers in North America. Today, the company has an installation base of over 130 Tier 1 and Tier 2 CSPs in North America alone.

“We are happy to strengthen our Carrier Ethernet product solutions leadership in the North American market and maintain our years of successful innovation and longstanding leadership in this market space,” said Reinhard Florin, General Manager for North America at Telco Systems. “Looking forward, we have a healthy pipeline for our unique 100GE solution and we have strong expectations that the demand for this solution will continue to grow.”

“We are certainly pleased with the growth of the Carrier Ethernet side of our business,” stated Ariel Efrati, CEO at Telco Systems. “In parallel, we are experiencing strong interest for our uCPE solutions from telecommunications and managed service providers around the world looking for an efficient service delivery framework to rollout and manage new SDN and NFV based services.”

Telco Systems will be presenting its full portfolio of solutions including the 100GE T-Metro 8100 and new uCPE solutions at the MEF17 event in Orlando, Florida on November 13-16 at Telco Systems’ booth - #607.

LOL.... In Canada at the moment any talk about Dairy Products is a dangerous topic to bring up as NAFTA was replaced with USMCA. Pickled would be a suitable adjective.

I almost trimmed some shares when they went over 40p but decided the backdrop info was too compelling and stayed with the lot.
This really stuck out from the update posted above.

"In addition to the increase in the number of units shipped, Telco Systems has also added ten new communications service provider customers in North America for this same period ending in June 2018."

I am invested in augmented reality via another company and the growth is phenomenal. These cutting edge technologies are all bandwidth dependent.

"While
SD-WAN is grabbing most of the headlines today across the telco industry, it is important to remember that SD-WAN is an over-the-top technology that must have an underlying network."

This is a most welcome update. Looks like the timeframe has shortened and providers are scrambling.

Added comment...... This on Telco site....“In addition to the continued growth of our carrier Ethernet business led by the demand for our T-Metro 100GE offering, the customer engagements that we are involved in for our NFVTime uCPE solution, especially among Tier 1 service providers in North America, is also growing rapidly.”

MANSFIELD, Massachusetts, October 29, 2018 /PRNewswire/ --

Company reports over 28% growth in shipments in North America of its MEF CE 2.0 compliant devices driven by ongoing demand for more bandwidth to support more cloud-based wholesale and business services

Telco Systems, the leading provider of innovative SDN/NFV, CE 2.0, MPLS and IP solutions, today announced that the company is experiencing continued growth in the carrier Ethernet sector with an over 28% year-to-year increase in the shipments of its MEF CE 2.0 compliant devices in North America for the period ending on June 2018. This is the second year in row of shipment growth for these devices as the company previously reported growth of over 20% for the same period in 2017.

Telco Systems' growth in the carrier Ethernet space is being driven predominantly by the ongoing demand from communications service providers for additional bandwidth to support more cloud-based wholesale and business services.

As part of this growth, Telco Systems has received a significant increase in orders for its 100GE
T-Metro 8100 service demarcation and aggregation platform. T-Metro 8100 gives service providers the required high reliability and flexibility to aggregate multiple services over 1GE, 10GE and 100GE port rates in metro Ethernet environments. This platform provides carrier-grade service scalability and resiliency along with a comprehensive feature set that supports QoS and OAM capabilities.

In addition to the increase in the number of units shipped, Telco Systems has also added ten new communications service provider customers in North America for this same period ending in June 2018.

"We are pleased to say that the carrier Ethernet market is alive and well," said Reinhard Florin, Vice President of Sales and General Manager for North America at Telco Systems. "While
SD-WAN is grabbing most of the headlines today across the telco industry, it is important to remember that SD-WAN is an over-the-top technology that must have an underlying network."

"Much of the demand we are experiencing for our carrier Ethernet demarcation and transport solutions is to support the uptake and growth of SD-WAN from our customers," continued Florin. "We expect that the carrier Ethernet market will continue to grow for many years to come for which we plan to maintain our strong market leadership position in this space."

"Our customers know that they can rely on our company to constantly bring to market new product innovations for them to improve the management of their networks and service offerings," stated Ariel Efrati, CEO at Telco Systems. "In addition to the continued growth of our carrier Ethernet business led by the demand for our T-Metro 100GE offering, the customer engagements that we are involved in for our NFVTime uCPE solution, especially among Tier 1 service providers in North America, is also growing rapidly."

Telco Systems will be presenting its full portfolio of networking solutions, including the 100GE
T-Metro 8100 service aggregation platform and NFVTime uCPE solution at MEF18 in Los Angeles on October 29 - November 2 at Telco Systems' booth - F4.

Reinhard Florin will also be participating in a panel discussion at the MEF18 event on Tuesday, October 30 in a session titled Universal CPE - Accelerating Service Delivery in Both Brownfield and Greenfield Deployments.

Markets are skittish due to uncertainties of Global Trade Wars and after a long sustained run, so its not surprising to see shares on the slide with no regard to individual situations.
BATM Telco Systems, which is what we are all watching at the moment, has made huge strides in partnering with some pretty impressive names which will translate into sales going forwards.
The timeframe for rollouts and implementation of software defined solutions has accelerated after languishing for a while in the "will it wont it category" .....
Revenue from this will start to trickle in as its going to come from shared initiatives which themselves are only starting to sell into this market with these solutions.
So I would say this is a time for consolidation and planning and the first sales to hit the radar.
The impact on BATM Telco bottom line will not IMO come as a surge but rather a gradual build up with meaningful contributions by 2020.

The big +'s are that BATM have developed all of this in-house and with no dilution to shareholders and thats something the markets have had a tendency to overlook.
BATM also as a total picture is either breaking even or showing a small profit so any additional revenue is going to make a noticeable difference.

Basically the medium and longer term prospects really are looking impressive. Short term in this market environment and with them unlikely to post any immediate major uptick in revenue the share price will probably drift. The Telco sector though is in the throws of major upgrades ahead of 5G and Software defined solutions, so even in a lacklustre market the game is a foot !

Well thats my current take on the scene FWIW

If you need a little consoling whilst these pull back.... check it out

Telco Systems concludes successful SDN NFV World Congress
October 19, 2018 Nikolay Hristov

Telco Systems solutions, which presented at the SDN NFV World Congress last week, received a warm welcome from existing and potential clients, service providers, analysts and journalists.

The company displayed its NFVtime open uCPE (universal customer premises equipment) software solution designed for real zero touch service deployment of SD-WAN (software-defined wide-area network), vSecurity and other managed services. These solutions were showcased at the company’s booth and as part of the Arm ecosystem booth.

“The event was a great success and illustrated the fact that the NFV (network function virtualization) has crossed the chasm not only by Tier-1 companies, although there are still some questions concerning the end-to-end automation, integration and business aspects related to TCO (total cost of ownership),” said Raanan Tzemach, VP of Product, Marketing and Professional Services, at Telco Systems.

“It is clear that the industry has realized that SD-WAN remains the most attractive solution as it shifts from appliance-based deployment to be based on a uCPE approach such as NFVTime products.”

A panel dedicated to NFV revenue generation, in which Telco Systems took part, agreed that uCPE and NFV represent significant potential for service providers to generate new revenue streams and accelerate the speed of adoption. This depends mainly on VNF (virtual network function) pricing and whitebox cost/performance.

During the panel session, there were interesting discussions on the value of the Arm Edge hardware solution and how it could help create more attractive TCO, Raanan commented. “We had lot of queries following this presentation, which showed the great interest in such solution.”

During the SDN NFV World 2018, Telco Systems held live demos of NFVi-OS and uCPE MANO for Arm and Intel whitebox hardware.

NFVTime hardware agnostic uCPE solution received a warm welcome from service providers who participated in the demos to learn how it could accelerate their NFV service deployment plans and reduce deployment and operational costs.

Telco Systems NFVTime QuickDeploy offers carriers an overall bundle turn key solution for NFV deployment. The capability of NFVTime to run any VNF on any whitebox, whether on Intel x86 or Arm devices, is a key factor enabling growth in the edge, creating the opportunity for the industry to extract the maximum value of the NFV network transformation.

There are 403m shares in total so increasing holding from 15% to 20% is a 5% increase which by my calculations is a transfer of 20m shares not 4m. I've not seen evidence of a 20m transfer. How does that work?

Another key component is NFVTime Access, for configuration of
vCPE devices. Two service delivery options are available. Verge
appliance configuration enables operators to choose the white box
that best meets their needs, and employ management software
from Telco Systems. Operators can also choose the CloudMetro CE
2.0 metro edge solution, where Telco Systems provides a complete
system, as well as complete management support.

If you click on the link below then choose the File related to Telco Systems it gives a break down of the anticipated market size and what timetable they see for market uptake. Its already started as a trickle and is now picking up substantially.

The solution was developed through a cooperative effort between
Arm, NXP Semiconductors, and Telco Systems. It gives service
providers out-of-the-box support for SD-WAN, managed routing,
and managed security. Providers can also add other VNFs remotely
at any time, for additional services and capabilities.
At the heart of the solution is the NXP LS2088A platform, residing
on a NEXCOM NSA 3640 white box appliance. Featuring eight
64-bit Arm Cortex-A72 cores, this communications platform offers
a performance, power, and cost point that’s superior to existing
architectures on the market.
The solution employs NFVTime from Telco Systems, with hardwareagnostic
NFVi-OS and uCPE MANO OS software. “NFVTime
enables zero-touch service provisioning for rapid, effective
deployment of new services. It enables VNFs to run on any
COTS hardware, providing high performance, automatic service
deployment and advanced management and security capabilities.
Its Open vSwitch (OVS) enables network automation through
standard management interfaces and protocols. Built-in Data Plan
Development Kit (DPDK) support and dedicated packet processing
offloading help accelerate performance.

FSE>. Heres the link to NFVTime so if you can struggle through all of this it becomes apparent just how important this all is and how its getting pieced together. Its well worth noting that the NFVTime suite employs cyberguard which Telco also developed.
