01/2/2008 20:21 | rampmeister With the markets so volatile, with one exception I am going into cash whenever I can, sometimes at just break even point. With cash in hand one can take advantage of companies (like BNLN) that appear to have been dragged down by an indiscriminate market. However it too has risk attached -overruns on fixed contracts, litigation, recession factors. That said, I will be watching closely. | azalea
01/2/2008 15:42 | if it makes a few tests of 150 and holds might be interesting | surfer2
31/1/2008 13:55 | Azalea well done on making quick profit but thought you were more of a buy and hold investor as with ACHL. RM | rampmeister
31/1/2008 11:05 | Buy rating in the recent Shares magazine. Edit: Sorry Stegrego, just seen your post! | mirshahik
31/1/2008 09:19 | The DJIA and FTSE have not responded to the cut by the FR, As a precaution, I am taking profits ahead of the potential herd instinct on Friday. | azalea
31/1/2008 08:07 | Shares Mag Bateman Litwin (BNLN:AIM) 147p The firm is based in the Netherlands and numbers among its contracts a role in the development of the Kashagan oil field in Kazakhstan. A recent trading update revealed that both operating performance and net income for the first half would come in ahead of expectations. According to broker Evolution Securities Bateman Litwin is on a prospective PE of less than 10 times, and is the cheapest company among the engineers and constructors in the oil service sector. | stegrego
30/1/2008 23:07 | According to ADVN current price 184p has gapped up higher than bid/offer spread 174.25p/180p. This is a strong buy signal in itself but more interesting are signs that share price is breaking out from long term down channel that began last July. Believe we need to close above down trend for 3 days to confirm but looking very good at the moment. RM free stock charts from www.advfn.com | rampmeister
30/1/2008 13:09 | The FR decision will not be known until after London has closed. With all the good news digested during Friday, I shall be guarding against the potential for profit taking ahead of the weekend. | azalea
30/1/2008 12:54 | Very nice. Still rising in a down market. Azalea, I think besides the potential US rate cut it is also a delayed reaction to the results announcement. A good outcome to the Delta fiasco would be great. | mirshahik
30/1/2008 10:06 | Glad I made some chuncky buys yesterday. :-) | mirshahik
30/1/2008 08:28 | Strong finish yesterday with a 62k buy @ 167p. On the move this morning with significant upside potential by the end of the week on the back of the widely expected rate cut by the FR; not forgetting the BoE and potentially the ECB. | azalea
29/1/2008 16:15 | Thanks Azalea. I have quite a few now! Hoping for £ 3 by year end. | mirshahik
29/1/2008 15:49 | General counsel of BNLN. As I see it the major implication of BNLN moving to the main market is that it will fall into the sights of other institutions who currently cannot buy Aim listed company shares. IC 11/1/08 (sp 197p). BNLN shares are rated only half as highly as Wood's(11 times 2008 forecast earnings compared with 20 times for Wood. Buy! | azalea
29/1/2008 15:23 | Azalea, who is Mr Rekem? | mirshahik
29/1/2008 11:20 | Well pop pickers BLN is a new entry in at no. 19 in Top Riser List. RM | rampmeister
29/1/2008 11:14 | bluefix2 According to the IC, the disclosure failures by Delta-T are sufficiently well evidenced to pursue the Swains in court for $45m plus damages. " Yet all this should make little difference to BNLN earning expectations". City analysts agree. IC - "Ironically, a wider issue wth BNLN shares is that instituional investors cannot get hold of enough shares as the free float on AIM was too small. That may change if BNLN moves to the main market, as Mr Rekem says they will" ! The 2x 50k buys at 10:46 & 48hrs were interesting - clearly looking for the share price to move much higher. If not today, tomorrow could see that happen in the wake of the Feds rate cut. | azalea
29/1/2008 11:11 | Bought some yesterday and today. If it drops will buy more. I make the P/E about 17 based on 2006/7 numbers. Hopefully it will drop to 10 or less on 2007/8 numbers. | mirshahik
29/1/2008 10:28 | If the outcome of the litigation, how much will be the effect? How much is the money they are dealing with it? | blueflex2
29/1/2008 08:31 | with the Feds very likely to make another rare cut tomorrow, and EU leaders meeting in london on the same day we could see a concerted cut by the BoE and ECB, making it altogether a super Wednesday! I am buying! | azalea
28/1/2008 17:55 | In addition to the fears of a U.S. recession, the Delta T acquisition is now the subject of litigation. Whether the two combined justify the fall from 325p (1/8/07), is another matter. Given the latest update, my money says it does not. If the outcome of the litigation is found in BNLN favour, you can double that in spades. | azalea
28/1/2008 17:30 | anyone can tell me why this shares went down from all high 300p to 150p? I saw the recent news was also good. I am puzzled. | blueflex2
28/1/2008 16:24 | The 3500 trade @ 151p at 1603hrs, was a buy(mine), I suspect others are buys too. | azalea
28/1/2008 09:14 | On viagra this morning - yet less than 40,000 shares traded so far and nearly a third of them are Sells ! | masurenguy
27/1/2008 17:26 | up until the acquisition of delta-t everything was going great guns and then, whack! A contract cancellation in dec with a delta-t customer as also damaged sentiment but the core business is in good shape. BNLN should get a court announcement re: it's litigation with delta-t very, very soon. Once that is out of the way then i'm sure you'll see renewed buying interest. Gonna keep my eye on it | olivercromwell |
