Close the app. Don't let people tell you to sell just because it's down. I regretted this with doge and shiba... Things can fly up at a moments notice, nobody knows what's going to happen so just put in what you're willing to lose. If you are struggling to make profit in the forex trading market, is probably because you have been doing it in an absolute wrong way. What if I told you that, they're strategies you can use to bounce up to profit and get amazing results. This same strategy by Mrs Tina have gotten and still getting lot of people result, even with a small trading account. the 6% 2 year will fall sharply come next week. Just a delayed lag to what happened last week.

FtB priced out of the market, which is a serious problem for the housing chain... Help to Buy which provided a 20%(40% in London) interest free equity loan closes to new applications in 3 weeks. Energy prices surged from 1st Oct. around 30k were in severe mortgage debt. With interest rates more than doubling, I expect repossessions to surge. Unless of course, Liz Truss pays everyone's mortgage or provides billions to keep mortgage rates low, like she did with energy... My post from Feb, NI was reversed but the other points still stand. sikhthetech20 Feb '22 - 15:26 - 5884 of 5899 Edit <...> When the housing market crashes, no HB is immune from the crash. Likewise, listed HBs are not immune from stockmarket falls or movements. Govn support, provided during pandemic, has ended. Repossessions which were stopped during pandemic are legal again. Around 30k homeowners in severe mortgage debt. Inflationary pressure, interest rate rises, NI rises, Council tax rises, energy price rises all impact affordability.

With two year mortgage rates at 6% he highest for 14 years this is going to devastate the housing market. Prices will have to tumble. Repossessions could escalate dramatically. Not a good environment for house builders.

This Government seems hell bent on helping the housebuilders, all we need now are the inflation figures and interest rate projections to fall. And that's a given in my opinion....

Very true, the media have just talked the markets down...for the gain of the big boys to fill their boots at bargain prices...

I just don't understand the mentality of people who short stocks. To go through life searching out the negatives must be very bad for your mental health. I guess that real investors buy and sell shares, not spread bet because they can't actually afford to buy anything. What I can't tolerate is the rudeness to other people, that's just not respectful. But I probably dislike the media and their amateur economics more than short sellers, they at least have an influence because people unfortunately believe them....

Can't wait for the BBC 6pm news to tell us that house builders have recovered 6% of their recent losses. 7% in the case of Bellway. As we all know they'll be no sniff of anything remotely positive.

I will be very happy with a close above £340, anything else is a bonus.

Hopefully it falls back to 450ish once the talking heads look at the ONS data which points to the market panic as manipulation as we still have positive GDP

Think this is just a dead cat bounce the fall will resume as the true state of the housing crisis will come out over the coming months. The cost of borrowing means buyers can't buy the house they could last month, chains will be breaking all over the country.

Surprisng how financial reports from mainstream media is so useless but they do us favour they get us in cheap. There are quite a few investors that trade the days after ex-div because you usually get a decent bounce when it bottoms out.

It was the same from the report on Sky headline the 12% with no mention of it going ex-dividend. I don’t think it occurred to her that there might be a reason why Barratt was out of line with the other house builders. There is a lot of shoddy journalism with people who have no proper experience of business being put on the business desk.

whatsthepoint, a month ago nobody considered uk 10 at a yield of 4.5% plus, although poss one should if going back from 1980 and mapping us and uk 10, there hasnt been much diff and with the us 10 at 4 at the time some upside slippage could be allowed for and in fact is well within norms over that time frame, but i digress. in a month (the boe is using oct 14 as a cut off date, one day after us cpi) the mkt may well be fixated on something else and bond yields might be lower across all mkts. i certainly think the us 10 peaked at 4%. it may not drop to 3% overnight but i see it struggling to move higher and may well drift slowly lower into the end of the year. big sharp moves tend to get reversed in a similar manner. fwiw cable now abv 1.10.

There will be no profits for house builders for some time as they have to mothball sites and go and sit on land banks again. Property chains will be collapsing all over the country as we speak. The only option is all to take a big haircut on the sale to complete the chain. Or they just collapse and then those that have to move because they can't afford the over inflated property they purchased recently will be up s... creek without a paddle.
