IG do not let me short any penny share stocks. Although I can on some bigger company's like NCYT.

"Short selling is a fairly simple concept, an investor borrows and then sells a stock, then buys the stock back to return it to the lender. Short sellers are betting that the stock they sell will drop in price. The difference between the sell price and the buy price is the profit"

Some shorters morals are very low and will spread lies and mis-information to try and force holders to sell off their stock (Or not buy at all) causing the share price to drop artificially.

I think the only place on the internet where shorters can short aim shares is via Spreadex. Shorting is when you sell a stock instead of buying it. I like to know if there are any others sites out there that one can use to short shares with.

Hi BenCan you explain what you meant by "shorters" and how "they got burnt"...You mean they got in late before the share price peaked or something else?As you can probably guess, I'm a newbie.Thanks in advance.

Correct. Could easily see 0.50/0.75 + this week, obviously if news hits then the share price will move rapidly into the pennys over the next few weeks, 88e went from 0.50 to 4.70p just on anticipation!

10p + potential this year once JV or buyout is announced (expected to be Shell but a huge bidding war could ensue)

The pedigree of the directors says they've not made any significant progress in 5 years, their share price has tanked and fell by another 25% at the end of March.


When you say "We don't want" Do you mean the "we" the bag holders who are doing the reddit pumping?

5 years, no revenue, no profit and a falling share price?

Just raised another £3m but they've given up two licences, they're down to 3 projects, No drills or results and they're talking about 2022 / 23 before any significant movement.
This doesn't sound like a company doing low risk, cheap, quick monetisation of exploration.

Most recent capital injection was at 0.05p per share, 50% discount to the current price and less than a month before the expectation of news updates (Now moved back to May)
If you're sitting on good news, or expecting good news, and you're raising capital, you don't give a 50% discount on your current share price, or discount it to that extent just before you double your share price.

If your company is listed at £10m, and you're raising £3m, do it when you've set your stall for the next 3 years with good news, or tell your investors the good news in advance and squeeze them for more cash/less equity.

My short is now closed. Yes i did try and short it but broke evens and now long. Reddit gang are catching on so may actually move up fast which works for my long
