Surprised there hasn't been upward movement here. If MB is landing in Peru this week he's not doing an office visit.

A director buy right now would cement the suspicion no news is coming out any time soon. I don't really care if they buy any, I wouldn't if I was them.

Because it will show their shareholders that they have a bit more confidence in the company's future than is currently assumed. This will in turn encourage new investors to have a closer look at BOIL and the share price should react more positively.

At the moment this is still very high risk despite the future looking more positive than it did a few weeks ago. A director purchase on the open market would certainly make me believe that our management regard the future as not quite so high risk.

Options are risk-free. If the company progresses positively and the share price rises then the holders of options win. If the company flounders and the options are never exercised then the holders of those options lose no money. But shareholders would kiss goodbye to all their "hard-earned".

A director purchase now, even a token amount, would improve sentiment dramatically.

Why would they buy when they have options and most likely will grab themselves more options? If they find oil and come good then no one will care about the options as we will all be winning together

Relax tommo41.

There are 3 chances of success and all of them good or excellent.

Yes, it does look like El Barco-3X could be the first drill. That's excellent news. It's a shame they only provided the gas case figures of 20 BCF or 4.17 MMBOE. In the 2016-11-30 RNS based on gas in the upper interval and oil in the lower interval the P50 figure for the well is 8.2 MMBOE. Either way BOIL has a tiny market cap, lots of cash and is fully funded for 3 wells in 2018 targeting somewhere between 14.0 and 16.0 MMBOE net recoverable. That's an excellent position to be in.

Rather than just change a couple of paragraphs on the front page, I suggest they bin the current site entirely and build a new one from scratch. The current one does nothing for the company except put investors off IMO. It would be simple and cheap to implement as it is esentially just text and pictures with little if any custom coding. A few quid spent on a professional and informative website would improve BOIL's image no end and help attract new investors at this key point in the company's turnaround.

Looks like the XX1 block could be drilled first.

Mid 2018.
