14/2/2021 11:28 | I do like to see trusts with absolutely no interest on the BBs. In the case of this one, performance has not been great for about 10 years, mostly due to Russian dependence on commodities income. This is gradually changing and commodities are already well up this past year and it looks like continuing. Discount was 20% last year, a great buying opportunity. If it happens again, pile in. | bitgold
11/7/2018 06:41 | Hi, Been building a stake in these since i saw them in shares mag and the large discount to NAV. Could do well in the long term. | oniabsta

21/2/2006 21:44 | M.T. If you want a really quiet thread with a very meaningful graph have a look at NST. | nephin
20/2/2006 22:50 | I hold BEE, which matches EST stride for stride (though EST has done it for longer, climbing five years running regardless of FTSE down years). Both 75-80% up on a year ago. The best stocks very often have quiet threads ;o) See other impressive (quiet) investment trust stocks at | m.t.glass
20/2/2006 21:04 | Anyone interested in reviving this thread? Eastern European markets seem very interesting at the moment | votiem
