04/11/2010 14:44 | MAX, dow is above April highs. QE is monthly, there's plenty of volatility left. If the BARC results are good, share price should see explosive rises :o) | smurfy2001
04/11/2010 13:30 | come on barc you can do better than this....310p | sm8
04/11/2010 12:57 | if dow remains strong today maybe £3 | martyn9
04/11/2010 12:32 | 307p today? i doubt it | sm8
04/11/2010 11:14 | i hope when results are out and are good, the share price doesnt plummet as the previous two quarter results which showed good profits!! | martyn9
04/11/2010 10:38 | Looks like it's clearly broken out of the decending downward triangle. Well that's what it looks like to me. Will be interesting next week, when the results are out... | smurfy2001
04/11/2010 09:47 | is there any chart marks that when broken may start the run for the trading statement next week. | dd776
04/11/2010 09:38 | as predicted yesterday, so lets hope the trend has broken. dnt forget there is a gap! | sm8
04/11/2010 07:58 | I G have Ftse now to open 5794 up 43 points + QE2 announced after our close, should be very strong start for Barc. Let's see 320p today | robertfaulkner
04/11/2010 07:56 | Incorrigoble, click on Pdf above "Somnus Trading pdf" In blue "Useful links" Writen by Ken, only a page long very easy to read | robertfaulkner
04/11/2010 07:50 | Lol. No, But Ken is a legend. | wilba
04/11/2010 07:44 | are there any articles on somnus trading or books | incorrigible
04/11/2010 07:32 | Somnus looks like a "no trade day" I G have FTSE to open at 5790 well above the R1 5771. Have we found the achilles heel of Somnus, if you get a low swing day the next days R1 to PP to S1 will be narrow so a "No trade day" will be much more likely as any normal overnight move in FTSE will always put it above R1 or below S1. | robertfaulkner
04/11/2010 00:54 | I have Bullish MACD, CCI and RSI divergence in the intraday time frames. BARC could have a couple of up days. IMHO | thetatrader
03/11/2010 22:59 | Barclays FTSE 100 Financial Buy 415p target Dolmen Stockbrokers | smurfy2001
03/11/2010 19:13 | Thursdays R1 = 5771 PP = 5751 S1 = 5728 Advfn close FTSE = 5748 I G at 7 PM Ftse = 5774 Looks like Ftse will be above R1 at 8 am open tomorrow, so yet another "no trade day" Maybe not a bad idea with the US QE2 just being announced as $0.6 Trillion, markets may be unusual tomorrow and Somnus relies on average movements | robertfaulkner
03/11/2010 19:04 | Indeed sir, ticking timebomb | sir ramsey
03/11/2010 19:02 | How will this play out tomorrow 0.6 Trillion dollars created out of thin air. If this was possible then forgery of bank notes would be a profession instead of a crime. You get out for nought in this world, they tried this in Zimbabwe | robertfaulkner
03/11/2010 17:52 | 5bag - If you look in the header you will find a pdf, which I try to keep up to date. Print it and if there is anything that isn't clear, put me a list of questions here and I will answer them on the FTSE thread where everyone can read the answers. If necessary I will update the pdf and try to make it clearer. | kenbachelor
03/11/2010 17:10 | ken, obviously somnus relies on accurate pivot data and somnus open price, both these factors as i sorted them out were a few points out from your values for today, i need to get these down right before i commit cash. Do you use the FTSE price as quoted 'live' on the 'home' page of IGindex at 8:01 for your somnus open, or from within the IG site (after log-on) and worked out from the bid/offer spread on the FTSE daily price? and are your pivots worked out from LSE website high/low/close? | 5bag
03/11/2010 16:45 | forget the ut trade, its meaningless! | sir ramsey |
