30/10/2010 11:01 | exel - 29 Oct'10 - 23:22 - 63197 of 63204 ==================== But Market Expectations are Low. "However, if you look at the current revenue growth of the median company around the globe they are delivering roughly 6% sales growth, almost 300 bps below the embedded expectations. If revenue growth does not improve, the current global market is overvalued." | thetatrader
30/10/2010 10:48 | Barc really needs some knock out news to get it out of its down trend. I can't see one bullish sign in any time frame. 'The trend is your friend except at the end where it bends.' Daily Chart | thetatrader
30/10/2010 10:28 | Ken reply to your post re Logic tells me that using data that is 2 trading days old cannot be correct. The reason pivots were developed was to give floor traders handy levels to act on; that data based on prior days IS valid if people act on it (and it is based on where real volume trades occurred), very few will calculate 'New Pivots' based on the 8:01 opening. Even Mark Fisher bases his trades on the difference between the true (old) pivots and the new opening levels. | miata

30/10/2010 07:38 | A "short" explanation of why we see periodic appearances of Monty the Bear: Small mammals such as the hamster and dormouse hibernate, but a bear's deep sleep is not a true state of hibernation. It is a more superficial torpor, generally interrupted by periods of wakefulness. GEORGE H. FRIED Brooklyn, Sept. 24, 1985 The writer is chairman of the Biology Department at Brooklyn College. | gbh2
30/10/2010 07:17 | Barc still sick I would say no sign of an upturn in the next 6 months . Monty should the bears not be sleeping now only 7 weeks to christmas you know .. | pal44
30/10/2010 07:14 | Hello again. I haven't been trading shares for sometime - to be honest I found it too easy. Yesterday I decided for the first time to try my luck with the horses. I put a pony on "Maoi Chinn Tire" to win at Wetherby. I also put a monkey on "Meetings Man" each way in the same race. I'm not sure how I've done because my bookie topped himself straight after the race. How much have I won ? | purple sound
29/10/2010 22:22 | has anyone else spotted that the recently reported slew of Q3 numbers generally, amongst major stocks in most major territories, has been positive and at, or above, market expectations. can't help thinking that some on here are looking at life through the rear view mirror - rather than reading current signals from real businesses. ex | exel

29/10/2010 18:28 | ludlowe - 28 Oct'10 - 17:57 - 63119 of 63190 ken , can you remove all those disstracting charts from the top ogf this page please ,as so unnessary .thanks on advance fir doing it without fuss . Ludlowe - Thank you for explaining that the thread is a problem on your mobile and it would have been helpful if you had done so in the first place, rather than write the above as a demand. I wouldn't even think of such problems as my mobile is a pay as go, that makes telephone calls. Perhaps I can ask you to provide a list of what you feel I can remove to make life easier for you, but when providing the information please consider that I expect a thread to provide in one place all the information anyone might need. My critisism being that most people who start threads just go off and leave them, in some cases the header hasn't been updated since the day it was created. | kenbachelor
