I see BCS still looking ready to pop. Would not be surprised to see move up today or Monday. Also if you are interested, imho, oil is a good play today. US in general looks like a up day.

Surely the worst is behind BARC's. Vaccine rollout, lockdowns coming to an end, economy opening up, borders to re-open, PPI gone, Brexit gone...the only hurdles I see are CB digital currencies and fintech...the investment bank growing too...all good.

PRBSHARES: great trade!

diku: blown though my 178p into your 180p (one HUNDRED and EEEIIIGHTY).

I think it's going to take a lot of work from here. We've done 131p-180p, bolstered by fundamentals, yes and happily so.

Does BARC now dare to dream?

Such ridiculous remoaner bias. Had a quick scan, and what that article doesn't include is that economists had forecast a month on month decline of 4,9%. Plus going into lockdown was also a major factor in the decline.

When for around 40 years you have been part of a protectionist group , to turn this around and to capture new markets , and seek new suppliers takes more than not even 3 months . Time will be on Brexit Britain's side ..

UK economy in turmoil as exports to EU plunge by 41%
GDP declined by 2.9 per cent in January, reversing a rise of 1.2 per cent between November and December.
