We have no obsession with them....just they miss to see from 40p this is an over done, and the fair price of 300/350p for BARC
Shorters are there to help some of us to buy some good shares next to nothing.

Why the obsession with bears/shorters??

I held a lot of these for many years before I sold in 2007. I bought in again but sold out two weeks ago because I think the price got ahead of itself and because I think the markets are going to correct themsleves bigtime due to fundementals. So I'm now a bear, for the moment. At some time in the future I will become a bull and fill me boots again.

So I'm still here. When the markets drop and Barc with them, I'll not say 'are those bulls still here? lol.'

Grow up.

Going to be an interesting battle on Monday between the late flourish on the Dow and GM plug pulling. Could be a decent start for the footsie and a chance for a few cfd shorts to be opened.

Imho level 2 is well overated. That LSE blurb expalins very well how it its set up and how it works but doesnt tell you anything of 'advantages' for us punters cos there are'nt any. As the mm'S can vary there volumes and prices offered and bid, by the second, its meaningless for us. Its just war games for the MM's, or, as some on here claim, its an opportunity for them to 'fix' prices.

I have tried to use it but other than possible split penny advantages for quick trades its pointless and I've stopped trying as it misled as often as otherwise.

Every so often I take a look at the level 2 screen and I can't see that it is any more help than my DDE spreadsheet. Does anybody know where I can find an explanation of level 2 and its advantages on the net?
