02/4/2009 11:59 | OzzMosiz - 2 Apr'09 - 12:54 - 19232 of 19233 (filtered) Very rarely filter but No funny, not banter, just mindless & offensive. | crystalblue
02/4/2009 11:58 | crystalblue / monty / smelgy / BLAP please note that BARC will fly again this afternoon. | gordonbrown
02/4/2009 11:56 | is this a lunch time dip I wonder .. | pradip44
02/4/2009 11:51 | 167 gone, dropped my target to 156, very weak. | crystalblue
02/4/2009 11:50 | Salisj - Sorry for the delay in replying, but I've been at work. The chart looks OK at the moment until about 11.30 and it's showing a flat line since then. Our hosts show no interest in the old basic charts, they just say I should use the newer ones, but all you can do with those is make a picture of it which won't update. Try grumbling at them - The charts are just unreliable and I can't get them to do anything. | kenbachelor
02/4/2009 11:49 | 160 close, this has run out of steam. | iggle piggle
02/4/2009 11:41 | the rally will continue this afternoon, once 184p is broken then 200p is technically posible crystalblue you and others have been gloomy for a few weeks now! | gordonbrown
02/4/2009 11:40 | £2 by tomorrow? LOL. That's really funny, but 1st April was yesterday. | crystalblue
02/4/2009 11:37 | ThetaTrader - thanks for the reply. Just out of interest who do you use - I'm currently with IG but lately have been disappointed with them. gb - there's always up and down intraday to make trades - with dow futures storming in the morning but barc failed to break 170 suggests there might be some weakness to trade short for some points. | kktj
02/4/2009 11:33 | guys who in the right mind would open/hold a short with sentiment changing and US futures about to continue rally? also M2M will send banks even further. BARC will be 200p+ tomorrow. | gordonbrown
02/4/2009 11:30 | geng ==== You may find this post interesting, on GAP plays... | thetatrader
02/4/2009 11:28 | KKTJ - 2 Apr'09 - 10:05 - 19175 of 19218 ==================== I used them in the past (CMC). The "spread" is not all it seems, they skew it in their favour. Their re-quotes are famous. Not all trades are 'automatic', you will be dealing thru a 'broker' sometimes, who will mess about with you. Once had a message from the 'broker' along the lines of "you won't do that again", closed my account. imho | thetatrader
02/4/2009 11:24 | Agree on the 167 intraday Jungle, if it doesn't fall below this in 60 mins will significantly reduce/close short. But if it does 160 will show imho. | crystalblue
02/4/2009 11:21 | It will be interesting if it gets to 174/175. From what I can see alot of shorts have set stop losses there. They may inadvertantly trigger another rise if it gets to that level. At the moment the intraday suggest 167p is a good support level. | jungle raver
02/4/2009 11:21 | Ishares will be announced soon + AGM this month with dividends discussed and next month Q1 which we already know to be strong. Lovely! | lab305
02/4/2009 11:18 | I think on average GB speaks a lot of sense both ways. NG | nickiegaul
02/4/2009 11:16 | well at least its a 50/50 can only go north or south ..good odds if you ask me | snakehead
02/4/2009 11:15 | It will hit about 145 then fly through 170. IMO. | madmick
02/4/2009 11:13 | Starting to follow the inevitable trend now..........going SOUTH. | crystalblue
02/4/2009 11:12 | Struggling to break 170 might have to drop back and take a run at it , like it had to yesterday to get through 150. | madmick
02/4/2009 11:07 | theres a bigger gap to £10 | snakehead
02/4/2009 11:06 | By the same rule therefore isn't there a large gap to £5 ? | lab305 |
