20/3/2016 09:58 | Oxman is referring to BKIR. What has SAR got to do with it? | truffle
19/3/2016 18:10 | OXMAN - Hope away but IMHO opinion SAR will not be paying divs in 3 years time!!! | bongo bwana
17/3/2016 16:04 | This share will trade much higher very soon | pugdog
17/3/2016 11:53 | Bought a few sub 25. Hope they will be much higher in 3yrs time with a decent div. | its the oxman
11/3/2016 20:54 | what the hell up 12.5% with no apparent reason high volume | willjam
11/3/2016 17:08 | I don't think all PIs are necessarily long at higher levels. There must be some long term holders from lower levels who hope/expect that taking a reasonable 3-5 year view the price could be up in the 100-200p range. The continuing recovery in the Irish economy and the promised return to the dividend list next year certainly reinforces that sort of thinking. | truffle
11/3/2016 16:48 | Would expect that most that hold on this board have bought in at much higher prices, hence the silence when it rises. Which I guess is a good indication that a raft of PIs won't be selling any time soon. Expect more bullish bs to be in the press over the weekend about the banking sector, followed by a nice gain on Monday. | return_of_the_apeman
11/3/2016 16:24 | That would be nice, but I am not sure many banks have a spare 10billion down the back of the sofa at the moment. Finishing nicely, not sure why this has done much better than the rest of the sector today. | return_of_the_apeman
11/3/2016 16:06 | Very quiet indeed. If British Airways can buy Aer Lingus, then I guess Bank of Ireland could become a target for a UK or European bank at some stage. | truffle
11/3/2016 14:45 | Wow it's quiet here with an over 10% gain today, dips toe | return_of_the_apeman
11/3/2016 10:06 | hvs, Far from it Cap 9billion Profit 1.2billion Trading at about NAV Gov has shares at .33 cent Preference shares paid off and return to divi 2017 Ireland is growing nicely and can't see why Brexit would negatively affect this company Internal targets are being exceeded so guessing profit will be about 1.8 to 2billion this year Policy to return half of profit to shareholders per year by divi I am struggling to find any downside but might wait until and see if this can close above 0.28 | return_of_the_apeman

24/2/2016 14:07 | BKIR, excellent results, booming Celtic cub. Almost at a 2 year low. What's the problem?? | family values
24/2/2016 14:00 | Is it NOT BANKRUPT ???? | hvs
24/2/2016 13:29 | Excellent set of results. This is a good play on the Irish economy which is the fastest growing in Europe by a long way. However, it also get a large potion of its profits in UK, so Brexit issue will affect the share price, along with low ECB rates. | hunter321
24/2/2016 10:27 | Just overall background down. Nothing wrong with BKIR. | enturner
24/2/2016 08:48 | dOWN dOWN dOWN What is going on here | kemorkid
23/2/2016 14:42 | See HL comments here. All good IMO. Bought back in myself. http://www.hl.co.uk/ | enturner
22/2/2016 21:41 | Other positive is that the CEO bought €50,000 worth of shs, which increases his existing holding by 50%. ... CFO also bought €25000 worth. | jswjsw
22/2/2016 16:49 | hvs - results released today - link above. They are far from bankrupt, pledging dividends in one year's time and a very good Tier I Capital ratio of 13.3% On the downside, I can't quite see why the TNAV is still only 24.1c - that is rather disappointing. | jswjsw
22/2/2016 16:27 | Is it true that this is BANKRUPT ???? | hvs
11/2/2016 14:55 | Indeed ! The Euro has been a bit stronger the last two days. I do not know when the banks results are due. | pugdog
10/2/2016 13:19 | What stopped the rot here? | kemorkid
05/1/2016 15:35 | Does anyone have the dates for interim and final results. | pugdog |
