03/9/2017 13:10 | Deuchar. I hold Bango and IQE. Have held IQE for about 3 years from about 25p, and even though they are running close to highs (140) I'm not a seller. in my opinion and many others, the story is only just beginning. There is a set of results released 5th September, well either see a step up as some linkage to Apple IPhone8 is teased out of management or may be a pull back in the absence of that,(which will be an opportunity to top up for me), but the growth story with or without Apple, is just beginning. Personally Im a holder for the long term the next 3 years should see immense growth, and IQE is becoming a momentum stock and there is nothing wrong in buying into momentun even if you have missed a lot of upside, you have also missed out on a lot of the early stage risk. IMO DYOR | mark_jm
02/9/2017 10:13 | Hello Simonsaid thanks for Bango. I've been asked to look at IQE -any thoughts? | deuchar
01/9/2017 12:38 | This Friday's IC mentions Bango again and reiterates the 300p target price | nimrod22
31/8/2017 14:25 | Thanks both, I agree its unlikely that Apple do it themselves. But equally they do have nearly a trillion in money that is sitting outside of the states that could be put to task. Let's hope its bango they use and that we hear so one day. | glawsiain
31/8/2017 14:05 | Not a newbie question glawsiain and I have no idea. Apple, like Google and Amazon, have payment infrastructure already in place for their various digital transaction operations, but it's quite a step from that to the complex interconnected systems involved in DCB. Looking forward to finding out one day. | simonsaid1
31/8/2017 13:47 | glawsiain Could be possible and no reason why not but I would think the quickest route to market if they wanted go this route back in 2015 would have been to snap up Bango or Boku for peanuts and just roll out the technology internally. Also why would Apple want the expense of DIYing when they could use a low cost processing company and even if they did then I would think the market would know they were processing payments internally. One day all will be revealed I'm sure | lentjes
31/8/2017 13:29 | Simon and Lentjes. Is it completely impossible that Apple could have developed their own technology in this regard? They have the resources I assume. Or it it unacceptable for the vendor to also process the payments? This feels like a newbie question from me. | glawsiain
31/8/2017 11:32 | I wonder who Apple are using for all of these DCB routes. | simonsaid1
31/8/2017 11:08 | wow another 2 Apple / iTunes DCB activations Proximus in Belgium Telenor in Bulgaria hxxps://www.proximus hxxps://www.telecomp | lentjes

30/8/2017 19:11 | Apple store / iTunes DCB availability now updated showing 3 new activations in Malaysia with Celcom & U Mobile in addition to Digi mentioned in my post this morning. | lentjes
30/8/2017 09:48 | The profit takers who keep sapping the gains here only have a few more weeks to play this game before the next re-rating upon results. The sharper among them may buy on the run up and attempt to sell the resulting peak, but given the forward potential of this business, I think a new 300p base is sustainable, and we all know the market is fond of round numbers (present jitters notwithstanding). For forward stability this share could really do with extra liquidity (the volatility is rather dizzying given the relatively low volumes), but given Bango are fully funded and therefore clearly won't be placing, the only thing that will arrest volatility somewhat is consistent profits and growth, which all appear to be starting. Bango will finish up 2017 in fine form, I think. | simonsaid1
30/8/2017 08:35 | Looks like the Apple rollout of DCB continues this time with Digi in Malaysia who have over 12 million subscribers although the Apple web page has not yet been updated. Nothing to suggest this is with Bango but great for further exposure of DCB hxxps://klgadgetguy. | lentjes
29/8/2017 19:31 | Good reversal on a market down day. Good signs. | acefromspace
29/8/2017 14:20 | they'll be why. ST comment today Bango a trading buy Aim-traded shares in Bango (BGO:225p), a provider of a state-of-the-art mobile payment platform that enables smartphone users to charge purchases made in app stores straight to their mobile phone account, rallied strongly after I last advised buying at 191p (‘On the upgrade’, 18 Jul 2017), hitting a high of 275p before profit-taking set in. To an extent that’s understandable as the price had almost trebled since I first advised buying at 93p ('Bang on the money', 26 Sep 2016). Interestingly, the buyers returned around the 200p level, and justifiably so as we can expect a robust trading update when the company reports half-year results on Tuesday 19 September 2017. In fact, with the exit run-rate of end-user spend processed through Bango’s payment platform hitting £300m at the end of June, up from £195m at the start of the year and well on the way towards analysts' year-end exit run-rate of £352m, the likelihood of Bango achieving run-rate break-even in the fourth quarter is well underpinned. I maintain my 300p target price and rate Bango’s shares a buy. | nimbo1
29/8/2017 14:13 | positive swing after i told it off : ) | nimbo1

29/8/2017 10:33 | will start back towards the Simon Thomson of IC 300p ONCE THE Korean stuff has settled | nimrod22
24/8/2017 11:07 | In relation to Microsoft activations I did post this on 22nd July in which Graham Riddel Microsoft’s Director of Carrier Billing & CEO Satya Nadella stated they intend to increase the number of DCB billing routes on the Windows Store to 60 by the end of the year. Its significant to note in the article that the Microsoft business model has also changed over the years from a model in which they would sell the latest Windows version to the W10 model in which they gave it away to free for existing customers and are now reliant on gathering as many users as possible and monetise them later through ‘post-purchase DCB ???? As they are closing down the legacy activations I also take the increase in activations to refer to the Windows 10 & Xbox activations. hxxps://mobileecosys | lentjes
24/8/2017 10:45 | Let's not build too much hope and hype into expectations for the next figures. It has been slow and steady for years. Management prefer to play things down rather than up and I expect that trend to continue. | smallcapinvestor1
24/8/2017 10:36 | Bango have said they don't want to RNS every new integration, because there are so many, which I understand. But does this mean that, as a publicly listed company, they can't announce them at all? I suppose they probably can't! Kind of annoying that we always have to guess until results time. But boy, is next months update going to be big. It will only have the very earliest 'Amazon effect' in the numbers, but I'm more interested in the other stuff (profit crossover, new integrations, projections). | simonsaid1
24/8/2017 10:08 | The lack of confirmation as to who EE are using to process the DCB is a good sign as normally when its Boku they announce this to the world | lentjes
24/8/2017 09:48 | hxxps://www.telemedi don't see why it wouldn't be... | nimbo1 |
