23/9/2015 15:51 | All looks very good and stable at present but the share price keeps heading south. I wonder when we will get an official update about this constant negative movements.Unless, UNLESS, floating or acquisition news??? | cabreado
23/9/2015 11:07 | Some challenge, the share price has dropped 25% in the last 2 months and we still get more sells than buys. Were is the bottom of what I thought was one of the best banks in Europe ?? | farmsted
21/9/2015 14:51 | Some valuable info about where we are at with BNC, recent share price drop and investors day note and challenges for Ms Botin: http://www.bloomberg | cabreado
17/9/2015 15:02 | crazy, SAN on ESE jumped 40% with two opening big trades this am before dropping back, | mike24
16/9/2015 20:06 | Moody's confirms Santander UK PLC's long term deposit ratings at A1 and upgrades senior debt rating to A1; outlook stable. | cabreado
15/9/2015 11:34 | Regards dividends, surely as the share price drops they have to offer more shares, so rather than 49 shares next time its more likely to be say 55 ? | my retirement fund
14/9/2015 17:53 | mike24 The fees are actually up from the current annual charge of £24 to £60. When I read your post above I initially thought they were up £24 or £2 per month. When in fact it is up £36 or £3 per month. Are they also going to charge a fee of £3 per month on their Santander Visa Card? | acamas
14/9/2015 16:19 | todays telegragh, end of free banking Santander yr fees rise 24 to 60 quid thxs Acamas, doesn't seem a lot, but should add a few million to earnings they are streets ahead of the rest on mortgage lending walked out half way through hsbc meeting, they may advertise best rates, but look at blogs of other potential borrowers being let down don't see Spanish election as a problem, maybe just the uncertainty holding a float up does anyone check trades on ESE (SAN) not difficult to work out b/sells dyor | mike24
11/9/2015 12:48 | And maybe on the Spanish election results in December. Will Rahoy be returned ? If not -how far to the left with still so many of the young unemployed. very resistant to Catalonian secession - a less determined Government would they prevent it ?Catalonia is an important province where Madrid gets revenues.I am not slating the stock -depends upon what your objectives are whether trading or holding. As an investment there is some risk still remaining of reversion to peseta until the economy in Spain makes a full recovery. | 4spiel
11/9/2015 11:34 | No point to top up or average down when this is not gaining strength as waiting on Brazil deal resolution | cabreado
10/9/2015 14:13 | added a few more on this drop they have grabbed nearly 200k new 123 accounts, their mortgage lending has been made on a more strict criteria if they want to get this UK 3bl floatation off the ground they need to make/reward better returns for investors asap to keep a share price going in right direction | mike24
09/9/2015 13:18 | That is how I understand it to be. | pvb
09/9/2015 11:54 | PACarr, I thought that had changed you will now only receive one DRIP and three cash payments. The three cash payments will be less the 21% Spanish withholding tax. Can somebody confirm this is correct? It is all to do with the new CEO's approach to growing the companies assets, I believe, reinvest profit rather than issue it in shares | acamas
09/9/2015 09:40 | Make use of the free 1-day only access to ft.com to read some good news for Santander :) | riskflair
09/9/2015 08:48 | Clearly the change on capital rules has taken effect this morning and this will push Santander's share price up. #tlac I think a sharp + quick recovery is on the way to 500p + | cabreado
08/9/2015 22:20 | On dividends, my shares pay a dividend of one additional share for every 49 held (let's say 2%) four times a year. Payment in shares apptly avoids incurring Spanish withholding tax, which would apptly run at 19% of any monetary pay out. So that's about 8%, all else being equal. | pacarr
08/9/2015 11:42 | I'd hold on - one big seller is skewing the stats. This one will definitely recover, and we will all wonder why we didn't buy more at this price.... | riskflair
08/9/2015 11:08 | again the sells out number the buys by 9 to 1 is it bail out time and take my losses | farmsted
04/9/2015 10:25 | OK say they pay 2.79 pence a qtr or 11.16pence pay so the current yield is around 3% | my retirement fund
04/9/2015 09:51 | Huge buying opportunity at the moment! | riskflair
04/9/2015 07:24 | mrf, you should be able to find dividend information by following the links above, under the News box in the heading. | pvb
03/9/2015 14:37 | Beginning to wonder what I have got myself into, investing for Div's but a nose dive in the sp | farmsted
