I notice that AEX only fell to 11.5 cents on Thursday and turned up again to 12.5 on Friday . Good luck with it . If I buy , I will of course buy it and trade it on OZ market as much easier top make a profit or lower loss if timing wrong . I got back from Vilnius last night with a heavy cold!! Have a good weekend

nice to see BGF recovering and this time it took notice of leap in gold price in OZ time. Uk price also helped by $A strengthening a bit against sterling. But $7 fall in gold price in UK trading time might mean a retracement in OZ on Monday . But gold chart looks strong .

Thats the way I read it . Hi Laserdisc , I missed the opportunity to get into Aim at 4.75 big mistake as I ended up buying over 5p , hopefully long run this will not make a big difference - the key to Aim is the fund raising announcement - should it be good Aim will start to take off the way BGF did from 2004 onwards . Good to see BGF now recovering ground again !

Now let me get this straight.
The AU$ weakens and that is good news for BGF:
Gold is valued in US$ and therefore gold in Oz is now worth more AU$.
Correct?

Let's hope so but becoming hard to pick this one- couod just as easily resume the slide! I looked at AIm chart in oz and turned down after a week or so of distribution at 14 cents level . So i reckon share price could fall further to 9 cents at worst before resuming uptrend . It did rise form 6 cents to about 15 in lat 2.5 months so always likely to be profit taking . Do you have access to the OZ chart? . If not , I could email it to you . I could give my phone number to you to ring me and give email address as risky to give it on this site I suppose . Am off to Vilnius for a few days tomorrow and hope it is not too cold ! Good luck with AIM.

Hi Arja , BGF +2 overnight could be start of turn around - but very distinct lack of news from company at moment , although they've never been the best for updating shareholders !

Aim Resources - AIMR epic code , slightly down since I first purchased but feel these could be good long term . Price of Zinc on the up as will shareprice be on announcement of any funding deal that allows mine construction to go ahead .

disappointing performance yet again in oz after rise in gold price ! It is a concern and makes me wonder whether bad news on the horozon . Hope not !!

Tonight will be interesting ,would like to see some further gain in Oz or at least some firm consolidation . I took the opportunity to invest in Aim resources today as an addition to the portfolio - did you take a look at these Arja ?

yes, seems to have turned based on chart . But the strong pound against OZ dollar meant no price improvement here !

yes 12vic, it is a concern! All that can be said is that the chart in OZ shows that it has hit the medium up trendline or maybe just falling below it. Let's hope for a rally tonight or maybe a turnaround !

oz dollar falling compared to gbp, BGF.. has hada good run.., waiting for 16p to top up
